I started a small organic garden of sprouts and microgreens and needed quality seeds. I'm exceptionally picky and am willing to wait to find something that meets my list of standards, so I did some research for a while for a company that would provide quality, non-gmo organic seeds that were priced accordingly. I found True Leaf Market through a number of suggestions so I decided to give them a try. I placed my first order about a year ago and was impressed with the turnaround time. They also offered free shipping at only $75, which was definitely reasonable. I received an email confirming my order and probably about 20 minutes later I received another saying my order was packed and shipped. What's more amazing is, aside from getting great seeds and fast shipping is their customer service.
Recently I placed another order and one of the items was for beets bulls blood seeds -- when they were ready to harvest they didn't look like the images in the pic, and wondered if the item I received was correct. I emailed TLM and explained this. Not only did I receive a response within minutes from Juliet, who took the initiative and gave me a credit for the amount I paid for those seeds, I was told that if I had any challenges placing the order then she would help me personally. The response I received from her was so swift I initially thought it was an automated message, Lol. When I went to use this credit the system wouldn't allow me to for some reason and so I messaged her back and sent a screenshot of what I was trying to order. She put an order together, invoiced me, emailed me with a link and all I had to do was click and pay the difference from my store credits. I received an email in about an hour saying my order had shipped.
I'm not exaggerating or being dramatic when I say I was pretty floored by these transactions. Good customer service is hard to find these days and exceptional customer service is even more rare. I am so happy I started getting seeds from TLM. I'm pretty loyal when I find something that works for me, so I see myself being a longtime customer of this company. TLM provides great seeds - my microgarden has not had any germiniation issues, great prices -- including shipping and superb customer service. I am 100% satisfied!

I was sad when my local go to seed company for Asian greens (Kitazawa Seed) was sold to an out of state business, but I am happy to report that True Leaf Market has maintained the integrity of the original business by continuing to offer high quality Asian varieties. I’ve had great germination from the seeds I’ve purchased and none of the issues with customer service that I see in a few of the reviews here. Germination rate for bok choys and Napa cabbages have been above 90%, which means I had to do a lot of thinning out of extra seedlings (Not a bad problem to have). Although I have a few other favorite seed companies, True Leaf/Kitazawa has been on the top of the list for the last 2-3 years. The seed packets are also generous in size compared to other companies I’ve been using which is nice for home gardeners like me.

Good seeds at a great price. Happy to continue doing business with this company. Excellent customer service from Johnny. Very helpful. Feels like you're speaking to a person and not to a company.

It has been a successful year for my veggie garden. I have been trying to grow my own veggies for a decade. My family got bored with the bok choys and lettuces I planted annually.
This year I reached out to kitazawa for some recommendations. They recommended a handful of new varieties for us to try. We had purple gem bok choy (instead of regular bok choy), chirimen hakusai (instead of napa cabbage), grey zucchini, suhyo dragon cucumber (no bitterness) and dewako one bite eggplant (cute small ones). All were prolific.
They also carry some japan made garden tools. I was lucky to get a hori hori knife. It is very useful with digging, removing plants with taproot and even transplanting seedlings.
With warm season plants starting already, I am thinking what I should get for fall. Maybe it is time to get new recommendations from their staffs. It seems to be months away. But who knows, time flies fast!

The delivery is fast, and the customer service is the best I can imagine. After received my first order, I mistakenly thought one of the bags has less amount of seeds than I ordered, so I emailed them. The customer service responded within an hour and sent additional seeds immediately. Only then I realized I made a mistake and they did sent me the correct amount. I apologized and offer to pay, they just kindly let me have the seeds as a gift. True Leaf stands for the customers, and I will be a loyal customer from now on.

I had to purchase some wildflower seeds and radish tillage seeds from another company (not TrueLeaf). The seeds did very poorly, and when I contacted their customer support, they put the fault on me (stated I wasn’t watering correctly but not able to explain how the radish were thriving but wildflowers not so much) the only wildflower seed that made it to maturity were the ragweed. I asked them to send out another bag to replace this one, I was told that could not be done. This is in stark contrast to TrueLeaf who’s seeds have been fantastic as is their customer service.

Picking up at will call was definitely worth it because they had free seeds! I'm so excited. I love the adventure of trying new seeds I wouldn't have thought to get otherwise. Also, you can order online right then and they will get your order together super fast. I think we only waited 20 minutes, and I had a pretty big order. Very nice people. Great atmosphere. Comfy couches to wait on and free seeds!

I just wanted to say, the germination rate of this company is something else. I didn't really think I was going to have all that much success growing the various Thai peppers I purchased because my climate is not really friendly for Thai seeds. But not only are they growing, I have an amazing amount of peppers as well. I can't wait to cook up some Thai dishes. Even the stevia I purchased from them which is notoriously hard to get going germinated without issues. Plus I must add they weren't stingy with the seed count for the stevia like some other places. I didn't expect all the stevia to germinate but they provided such a good amount of seed that I was able to get an excellent number of plants to kick into gear and I'm awaiting harvest. That's important to me because I use stevia because of my diabetes.
It's an essential plant for me to grow. Waiting with baited breath for their culantro to come in. That's the only herb I need to season my regular cuisine and fortunately I can grow that indoors if I run out of time to get it going outdoors. Yes, they cost a bit more sometimes, but they never disappoint. Nothing worse to spend time and money and not be able to get a plant at the end of it. Amazingly productive seed. Highly recommended this company for your seed needs!
