I've been on the hunt for a solid all-healthy restaurant, and True Kitchen seriously hit the mark and then some!

First off, the ambiance is great. The space is clean, bright, and full of color, which made it feel super inviting. You can tell a lot of thought went into the layout and design. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knew the menu really well, which helped since it was my first time there.

I ordered the All-American Burger, and instead of fries, I swapped them out for the sweet potato hash, basically grilled, diced sweet potatoes. It was such a refreshing and healthier alternative that still felt like a solid side. The burger itself wasn’t greasy like most places; it was satisfying but didn’t leave me feeling heavy or sluggish afterward. Just really well done all around.

To drink, I tried the matcha horchata, and wow, so good. It wasn’t overly sweet (which I appreciate), and they somehow nailed the balance between the earthy matcha and creamy horchata. It weirdly reminded me of drinking the milk left over from Froot Loops, but in a subtle, not-too-sweet kind of way. I know that sounds odd, but trust me, it worked.

The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and everything I tasted was fresh and thoughtful. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for something healthy without sacrificing flavor or experience.

Decent restaurant option located in the Stanford Shopping Center. A lot of vegan and vegetarian choices, as well as seafood and meat options for the carnivores. Edamame dumplings were a highlight. Fast and friendly staff. Large free parking lot.

We had an incredible dining experience here! My husband and two sons loved it! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our server, Lisa, was not only friendly but also super attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She recommended the Edamame Dumplings, Seasonal Butternut Pizza and the Sza Cza Salad, and it was all absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful and just overall amazing! The food came out quickly, and the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back for another amazing meal!
Thanks again Lisa!

I had high expectations for this place, but my experience was quite disappointing. The order took 40 minutes to arrive, which was already off-putting.

The vegan burger was incredibly dry, making it difficult to swallow. There was no plant-based cheese or sauce included. After requesting some, they offered vegan mayo, which was far from adequate for a $20 burger. I won’t be ordering this again.

I had also asked for a side of potatoes, which looked tempting, but they were extremely dry as well.

The margarita pizza lacked any significant flavor.

Our bill totaled around $65 for two people, and the overall experience was far from satisfactory. I’m not sure what the hype is about.

Their pizzas are exquisite and it’s a wonderful place to dine in! 🙂

Update: We went there again for the pizzas and they were fantastic again. Sat outdoors for lunch this time and it was a pleasant experience 🙂

Is there a zero star rating? This place earned it.
1. My wife ordered coffee. Came out cold, no spoon to stir.
2. I ordered a grilled chicken salad - chicken was beyond dry and so cold it was congealed.
3. No silverware or napkins on the table until we asked - then had to wait
4. No refill on coffee
5. No refill on water
6. No one came to check on us

Definitely a not to return to place.

In a word - Shameful.

Great food options, nice selections. I had the chicken wrap and edamame dumpling soup side. Great flavor, good portions, well balanced wrap. The soup was very flavorful. Service was extremely slow this time. It didn't seem busy, but our lunch took a very long time. I would say close to 30 minutes. I'm not sure why. I will still return as they have great food and quality.
