My experience with Trees of Antiquity and owner Neil have been remarkable! What a truly ethical business he runs! Neil is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and efficient and is producing quality trees unsurpassed in the fruit tree industry. He grows many interesting varieties that cannot be bought at Home Depot or most nurseries, gives wonderful instructions on how to grow, and above all, he stands behind his product. You simply do not not see this kind of business anymore! I highly recommend Trees of Antiquity, don't waste your money on anything but these fruit trees, they are worth the price!

This is my go-to source for heirloom apples. Excellent curation of tree selection, and attentive customer service. All our trees from Trees of Antiquity have been healthy. We get plum and mulberry trees here too, as well as berries. Highly recommended. Tree size has varied, some whips, some nicely structured. Our last shipment was all whips.

I have priced the shipping costs myself and you are doubling your shipping rates. It makes it so unreasonable to ship from your nursery. You also have the worst warranty I’ve come across for tree guarantee. Ironically, yours have been the worst performing from any nursery I’ve purchased. I’m a master gardener and know how to plant them properly and care for them. Sometimes the product is left wanting.

Not a fan of their replacement policies. It’s pretty unethical in my opinion. Had several trees never take with in month of arriving. They raised their shipping rates so outrageously that we ended up paying more in shipping than replacements the following year. Didn’t receive a credit in shipping expenses the first time either. Super disappointed. Especially since the trees that made it to year three struggled compared to big box trees. Total waste of money.

As an apple enthusiast, their massive selection was the first draw for me. After raising 3 trees from this company, I'm extremely pleased. One tree literally doubled in size in its first summer, planted that spring! On one hand I appreciate anyone working to preserve and propagate heritage apple varieties, on the other I love buying plants in excellent health with zero issues. My mom even bought me a Niedzwetzkyana apple for my last birthday and it's absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Trees of Antiquity was recommended by a friend who has used them to plant their new apple orchard. We recently purchased 15 bare root fruit trees and the service and quality is great. Very responsive to questions and order logistics. We received tracking information and the order was received in the timeframe specified. I ordered four persimmon trees (wanted more but they were sold out) and they were delivered to a property (gated) we own late in the afternoon. The next morning they were gone. I called to re-order since it was my fault for not picking them up that evening and putting them somewhere safe. Customer service sympathized and offered to replace the trees at 1/2 cost. I was not at all expecting that and was very pleased and impressed. The next day, my neighbor came by with the trees saying he saw them outside the gate and did not want them stolen so I was able to cancel the order but still appreciate the support!

I ordered 7 trees in 2022, and several raspberry bushes. I discovered Trees of Antiquity a little too late in the spring, so many of the fruit tree varieties were already sold out, but there was still an amazing and unique selection to choose from! The order was shipped very quickly, and arrived in perfect order.

I really appreciate that Trees of Antiquity ends their shipping season when it is no longer optimal to plant fruit trees. A lot of big box stores and nurseries will sell trees at any time, not caring about the chance of success and survival, so I really appreciate the caring approach that Trees of Antiquity takes. There is also a TON of useful information on their site!

I can’t wait for the 2023 pre-order season to open this summer; I will definitely be placing more orders. I couldn’t be more impressed!

I just received a Morgan apple tree and my experience with Trees of Antiquity was way better than any other nursery I have dealt with. This tree is absolutely beautiful! I have a very good nursery here in town and have bought several bare roots over the years but none of them compare to this tree! The staff were really helpful. I am so grateful I ordered from you.
