Very small town family restaurant and bakery. The place is got and you can see the workers baking in the back as soon as you walk through the door. The staff were very friendly.

I got sausage and eggs and it was exactly as expected. They had homemade bread which was really great. Also ordered cinnamon roll. It was massive but honestly a little dry for me and not enough cinnamon sugar.

I would come back and eat here.

I very much so love this restaurant! I grew up down the street, and frequently visited here. Very friendly staff, enjoyable space to eat and share memories with friends and family. I remember when it was Shelly's Restaurant. I would recommend everyone to come to Toni's Country Kitchen!!! Keep up the amazing work everyone 👏

Stop by Toni's Country Kitchen for wonderful, homemade, authentic pasties at reasonable prices. And they have delicious pastries for breakfast or dessert, too! Eat in or carry out. You'll be glad you stopped by!

This was number 1 on our pasty tour of 2022. My husband and I are going back to the UP for vacation and cannot wait to eat their delicious pasty. Great buttery, thin and flaky pie crust and their beef had an excellent taste.

We made it back in Sept 2023 for more pasties from Toni's Country Kitchen! They did not disappoint. I would stay in the Keewanaw the entire time just for Toni's pasties.

Toni's is the large and delicious pasty on the right compared to Jen's that was in some need of salt and pepper.

A number 1!!
Homey, cozy, quaint, small towny.

First found out about this place from the now defunct ‘Gourmet Magazine’. The author had written about his summers on the Keweenaw. And this place got a mention. The article fired my imagination and I made it a point to come up here. Now, it took 20 years between reading the article, and getting my butt here. Totally worth the trip. As soon as I got off the plane, I straight lined right over. I was starvin’ like Marvin.

Got the eggs, ham, potatoes, and the optional onions. And those onions were super oniony, just how I like them. Also grabbed 5 or 6 pasties to go: what I’d really come for. I’d rented a cabin in the woods, on the lake. Wanted enough pasties to last a few days. Having them on hand sure beat having to eat out or cook every meal.

Highly recommend. Don’t pass this place up if you’re in the area.

Amazing breakfast and super cheap. Large breakfast for 3, 2 cookies, 8 tarts and a coffee for $26.

Staff were friendly and attentive.

Cinnamon French toast was superb without being overly sweet. Omelette was huge with real cheese.

Excellent pasty! Came here in October 2024. The building is nothing much to look at and looks like any other storefront. The inside is sparsely decorated and ordinary. The employees all work serving in the front and baking in the back.

BUT...it is well worth coming in for. You get a delicious pasty at a cheap price right here where the Yooper Pasty was essentially born. No wait at all since they are pre-made, but still fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.
