My husband was dying for me to give it a go and needless to say, I’m not impressed at all. The sandwich bread tastes a bit doughy, chicken tastes like they pulled it from a freezer bag and tossed it in a microwave. Also, I can’t even hold it, I’m just eating it from the wrapper, I wish I had a fork.
But the sandwich wasn’t even the bad part of the visit OR the reason I felt the need to leave a review. The reason I felt that need was solely on the guy running the register. He had a poor attitude, we walked up and he didn’t even seem like he wanted to be there and I get it, I used to work at McDonald’s for 4.5 years, it can be an absolute nightmare, but that doesn’t excuse the rude manner in which he presented himself. My husband even said something about it and I just kinda shrugged it off, until he told his team something “wasn’t his problem”, loud enough for EVERYONE to hear. They ran out of something and it wasn’t his problem. LUCKILY they resolved the issue without him, not like he was much help anyway. But newsflash…. You’re a team; it is your problem. You cannot run a restaurant when you’re not using team work, and being besties with your enemies. When someone needs help, you help. I probably won’t return.
It’s a very clean restaurant from where we were standing, that did impress us. The decorations and such were also fun to look at, along with the notes from one of the local elementary schools thanking them.

After reading the reviews, I decided to go here instead of Jimmy John's. What a great choice. I got the cheesesteak, and it was uniquely delicious. Not your typical chopped ribeye. It's more of a thicker sliced possible bottom round or sirloin. I got mine with onions, hot celery, and hot olives, which gave it just enough heat. The bread is soft and fresh. $11 for a large hot sandwich is a steal, don't tell them they could charge more. Overall I will be back, I'm in town once a month. Also the drive thru window is pick up only no placing orders, I went at 1145 on a Friday amd waited 15 minutes for my sub.

Classic sub shop that you seem to only find in small towns like Marquette. Way better than Jimmy John's or Jersey Mike's supporting local is the only way to go especially when you were in Marquette. I love that they have egg salad as an option for a sandwich not many places do that anymore. Anything on the menu is pretty much awesome.

Best sandwich you will ever have. Tried a new one (I was an 8, 16, Torpedo guy in the 70s/80s) weapon of mass destruction! Superb! Service is also top notch. And if you like hot, the peppers are unique and simply outstanding.

For years this has been our favorite sandwich in all of Michigan!! Anytime we are in the area, we plan our trip to ensure we’ll get our family sized Italian with the most amazing cheese bread. Thank you for being so wonderful and considerate even when you’re bonkers busy. Don’t forget the spectacular hot peppers!

Prices are good and that was about it -

Bread is soft and sticks to the roof of your mouth - I had the 9 inch weapon of mass destruction - I should have taken a picture - the first inch of sub at the rounded end was completely empty of any toppings. The "grilled" onions were just barely warm - the mushrooms were literally straight out of a can - cold, never touched a grill. I bit into 3 hard chunks while eating - good thing I was starving - threw the empty inch and 2 more inches away.

Kids enjoyed the club sub, but said - " wish we had just gone to Jimmy John's" - they may have been picking up my vibes.

While waiting in the sitting area there were house flies all over the place.

Togo's has an amazing selection of sandwiches, and in our first visit we ordered 4 different types, including Italian, club, egg salad, meatball. We customized the sandwiches, and our order was placed as a pickup since we are still in pandemic times and the lobby was closed for dining in. The staff was very friendly and personable both on the phone and in person when picking up the food. The prices were surprisingly low, too! When we got the food home, everyone found that their sandwiches had been customized perfectly, and the quality / taste of the sandwiches was excellent. Togo's is now in our regular rotation of restaurants.

Everytime we come to Marquette, we always make sure to eat here, at least once! The variety of sandwiches here is amazing! There is something for everyone! The sandwiches are very filling! Even the small size, which is about a 6 inch is very filling! Pilled high with meat and toppings!

The staff is always so helpful and friendly! Even when I can't make up my mind, they are quick to suggest things and so far, have never steered is wrong!

They even made us a sandwich for our dogs and cut it up into small slices for us! They loves it! Highly recommend this place!
