Wow! What a gem!

Upon entering I was greeted by two very kind ladies. They explained the menu and offered suggestions.

The inside was very clean. The food and drinks were quick. And also very delicious.

Just spent a week in Nashville at all of the “best” brunch spots. This one was way better than anything I had there.

Will make sure to stop back in whenever I return.

Since 2019, TOAST has been there for all my biggest moments. My first recommendation to anyone coming to Pittsburg is to visit this funky eatery with big flavor. This place takes the rich heritage of southeast Kansas eateries and builds a delicious foundation for the future. Saturday morning brunch features biscuits and gravy that cannot be missed. Toast points and ricotta garlic = drool. The specials are always to die for, and don’t forget a drink and gelato! Pro tip: open a tab and keep the food and drinks flowing.

TOAST has been my favorite restaurant in Pittsburg since it opened. The staff is kind, helpful, and often goes above and beyond. The restaurant is decorated with local art. The menu is phenomenal. There are so many great options and the seasonal dishes are always something to look forward to. They use local ingredients as much as possible and have so many cool partnerships with local farmers. They do an amazing job of offering options for everyone. I have a gluten intolerance and have had no problems eating here. Many of their menu options are customizable to your needs. Just ask the friendly staff and let them know about your intolerance or allergies. They have gluten free bread, but you can also get many of their sandwiches on taters or on a salad instead of bread. I love to get the palluca's toast melt on a salad instead of bread. You should definitely stop by for lunch on taco Tuesday for some taco taters. I love the cubano sandwich and the logan's salad is so tasty. Their salads have REAL greens, not that iceberg lettuce. Let them know if it is your birthday and get a scoop of gelato and a cutting of a plant. They also have great drink options - cocktails and mocktails. They take their time with cooking your food to make sure it is right. Make sure you carve out enough time to eat. This isn't a fast food restaurant. Sit and savor your company and then sit and savor this tasty food.

TOAST not only serves up consistently great food, it is also serving it's community! When it comes to dining, the food is always fresh and delicious. When it comes to service, they are always attentive and kind. Our faves are their BLT+A or their Cubano!! You won't regret trying this fun and delicious spot!

TOAST is one of my favorites in Pittsburg, KS. The food is good, local, and supports others trying to make it in the world by buying from the farmers in Kansas. The Bow Chicka Bow Salad is my favorite, but the breakfast is great too. I've lost count of how many times I've called to find out the soup of the day only to decide I have to have it.

TOAST has food you can't find much of around the town and it is so much better for me. The owners give their time and talent to make the community better, and they serve good food, have cool art, and don't cost an arm and a leg. What's not to love?

Fair warning, like any place that is good, you might have to wait at busy times like lunch or football games. It's so worth it though!

Huge selection of hipster food with amazing flavor and superb atmosphere - you'll enjoy this beautiful restaurant on 4th Street. It has the feel of a chic restaurant from Lawrence with local goods and ingredients sold here. If you want a hometown feel and a little cheaper price, head to Bob's, Otto's, or Harry's.

We enjoyed a take-out breakfast that took 40 minutes to get to us. The food still had a great temperature despite some of it sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes. They already had a sign prepped explaining that because of a small kitchen and staff (of 2), orders can take more time.

The hold-up was mac and cheese. Noodles still a little firmer than al dente and the sauce dropped to the bottom of the bowl. The toast was all crunch. The breakfast sandwiches had good flavor, although the bread would have been easier to bite through if just a tad softer.

Overall, an great place to grab a bite if you are looking for a fresh, new taste.

We visited for the first time yesterday and we were so impressed! First and foremost - this is the only Brunch place in the area that service fancy coffee as well as hot delicious breakfast/brunch. This is huge! Every other place that serves food around here has drip only, and places with espresso type drinks only serve danishes and bagels and the like (breakfast light/grab’n’go stuff)

The food was delicious, we both got the Fat bottom omelet and their skillet potatoes - so good! The ambiance was super chill and cool, and they have a selection of local goods like in-house baked sourdough bread, deserts, honey and etc. The place was a whole vibe! Super happy to have great brunch place to visit with excellent coffee!!

Come for the avocado toast, stay for the community.

Not only is their avocado toast dish great with smoked salmon, it also reminds me in a tongue-in-cheek way of how the economic disadvantage of an entire generation was once blamed on their fresh and healthy breakfast choices. TOAST embraces the vibe and shows us all how community and local businesses should take care of each other. Check out their SPREAD the L❤️AF program, grab some delicious bread and help combat local food insecurity at the same time.
