This place feels like you stepped back in time into grandma’s kitchen, which was perfect. Laid back, nice homey feel. Staff was warm and inviting. Food was perfect. We stayed in town for several days and ate breakfast here for those days. I highly recommend the steak and eggs!

Vickie was an amazing server. She's been at the restaurant for 14 years. Her care for the restaurant and her customers really showed. All of our dinners were delicious. We had a hard time picking from the 4 fish options and that's when Vickie told us about the "Fisherman's Dinner". All of the fish was cooked to perfection. The portions were huge on every plate. It was as delicious as it all looks. My family of 9 all walked away with full bellies and leftovers. We only wish we would've saved room for dessert. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by!

Nice little diner outside of Manistique. Really enjoyed the soup and pasties! The pasty was big enough to weigh down a body in the lake. Service was good and had a great meal overall.

Got the Philly steak special wish the bun wouldn't have been soggy,but the meat and peppers were 😊 definitely going to try the stuffed French toast my next trip

I had breakfast. It was okay. My husband had a sandwich which was just okay. The staff was pleasant. The salt shaker was sticky. I know butter is expensive but frying potatoes in anything but butter is just what I am used to. We have been by there twice as we travel through that area a bit. We likely won’t go back to eat there.

Food was very good. The atmosphere was "diner/dive" which is expected and comfortable. Tho the food was great, the plates were too small to fit everything, and the amount of potatoes with their "big breakfast" was less than half a handful. The price was the most I've ever paid for "breakfast for 2" in any restaurant whether "classy" or dive..... $33. I wouldn't go back because of the price and the quantity of American fries. You can get equivalent anywhere for much less. But the food was very good.
