Customer service here is always good. All the employees always seem happy and they are happy to help you. We always get our dog's food here which is not available at many other stores. They have a huge variety of treats and products to choose from. It has a very homey atmosphere you feel welcome every time. They also have yummy free popcorn which is one of my daughter's favorite things to get when we go. My dog loves to go in the little critters room and so does my daughter. I do miss when they had the little aquarium store but that was before they remodeled and before they were under new ownership.

My pups love coming to this Theresa's location and sampling all the different treats that they carry as well as their pups food. One of their favorite foods is Holistic Health Extension (Beef, Chicken, Carrot, Brown Rice , Potato, Beef Bone Broth, Green Pea, Goji Berry, Coconut Oil, Sage, Thyme, Kelp & Tumeric) . They can't wait to goble it up..

TW: my dog died
I was a regular customer of Teresa's feed and pet and used to trust that they would sell me safe products and would not carry anything that could hurt my dog. I found out the hard way.
I had purchased the red barn rolled dog food for my dogs because it was a good price and they didn't have any recalls. I cut it up into little pieces that were bite-size and fed my dogs and walked out of the room to go take care of some chores. I came back a little while later and found my dog collapsed dead on the floor. I rushed him to the veterinarian down the street and they were unable to resuscitate him and when they did the autopsy they found that the dog food that I had given him had clogged up his throat like wet sawdust and choked him to death. The Vet stated that was the direct cause of his death. He had been totally healthy with no issues prior to this incident. I called the red barn company and let them know what happened. They told me they were going to open an investigation on what happened to my Dog and let me know that they would call me if they needed information from my veterinarian. No one ever called me back. No one ever called my vet, they didn't even ask who it was. When I went to Teresa's feed and pet and let the manager know that that particular dog food had been direct cause of death for my service dog not only did they have nothing to say for what had happened except for they were sorry and did not let me know that that product was part of their company.
It has over been over a year. I have heard nothing from their legal department. I have received no compensation for the death of my service dog and I will never ever ever shop here or recommend this store to anyone. They still have the red barn, rolled dog food products on the shelf and continue to sell it to this day and do not warn people that specific breeds are not safe to eat this food. Not only is this disgustingly irresponsible, but they are directly responsible for the death of my service dog. I will never forgive this chain. The people that purchased them from the original owner have no souls, do not buy from this company. They do not care what happens to your pet anymore. This sent me straight back to Petsmart. I will buy food from them, there is no way to make up for the loss of my best friend. And you people should be ashamed of yourself for selling unsafe products and not letting people know that there could be issues with what you are selling them. Absolutely disgusting.

And they have Cats at the Studios Rescue showing lovely kittens and sweet cats in need of loving homes at Adoption Event on Saturdays in Westlake!

So cute. Well stocked. Helpful staff! The clinic is different they do shots and dental.

Pet Pawz-itive moved across the street and they charge you between $2,900 and $3,500 for 1 tooth extraction and a regular check up . So good riddance I guess.

I recently purchased a snake from this shop, and while I was excited to add a new pet to my family, I was very disappointed with the care it received prior to me taking it home. My snake did not have access to water for an entire week or even two.
This raises serious concerns about the overall care and wellbeing of the animals at this shop.

Reptiles, like all animals, need access to clean water at all times, and I was shocked that such a basic need was overlooked. The lack of attention to this critical detail makes me question the other care practices at this location.

While the staff were friendly, I feel that the health and wellbeing of the animals should be the top priority. I hope the shop will take this feedback seriously and improve the care of their reptiles going forward.
