We took a chance
sending our son to Ultimook Running Camp hoping he would make some
friends, learn more about running and ultimately just have a good time. He
loved his experience! He is generally a quite kid, but he could not stop
talking about all the things he did at camp.
A lot of people and preparation go into hosting that many runners, Pat and his staff were great. We look forward to sending our son back
next year.

The best XC running camp in the West, maybe in the entire country. My son just finished his 3rd year here. Fantastic exposure to top athletes and confidence boosting challenges set in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Great opportunity to make friends for life in a tight knit, supportive sporting community. I'm sorry that he's a senior, because it was his last year as a camper. I hope he can stay connected to all his Ultimook friends as he moves on to college running.

Thank you so much for such an awesome running camp experience for all the kids! My son, Logan, had an amazing time and has been telling me the best stories since I picked him up yesterday. The friendships he made and the experiences he had will be wonderful memories for him in the years to come. You made running fun and he really enjoyed it. He also really loves all the food! We brought 11 athletes and 5 coaches all the way from Iowa to experience the Ultimook camping experience. It was worth every one of the 4100 miles we drove round trip to make it happen.
- Kids will be challenged! Our kids have never...in their lives ran routes that held such beauty as well as challenges!
- Amazing staff. Patrick always finds away to have great staff on hand. College counselors who truly love kids are a great part of this camp. Professional runners who are ready to share their experience. Competent coaches who want kids to succeed.
- This is by far the most beautiful setting in the US for a running camp. Patrick's farm is an amazing setting for any one to experience.
When we arrived back we received calls from other area schools in Iowa about attending with us next year. We will hopefully be able to do this again!

Both times I have been able to get out to Oregon for camp have been absolutely amazing; it was bittersweet leaving the ranch knowing I wouldn't be a camper again next year. Distance running definitely does not have the same following on the East coast as it does out West so we really don't have anything quite like it here in Maine. Ultimook has given me some life long best friends all over the country and fueled my passion for the sport greatly. I genuinely cannot thank Pat enough for the runners playground he has provided!

Zweifel is a great supporter for the local running community and his Ultimook Running Camp has been praised by many as a great way to get ready for the upcoming season over the summer. While the activities promotes self confidence and developing a drive to give it your all, the food provided did not give our runner the fueling they needed throughout the week. I don't know if it who's part it was, but this need to be looked at again. All in all though our runner had a great time.

Great camp! The counselors are friendly, knowledgeable, and great to work with. Lots of fun activities, while staying focused on teamwork, leadership, and accountability. Would recommend this camp to any middle or high School XC runner!!

This camp is amazing! This is my son’s first year in cross country and he said the experience was an 11 out of 10. The place is beautiful and the experience was unforgettable.
