It has been a while, so i wanted to update my review considering the new ownership and modifications within the store. We'll, now it's even better. It's been freshened up and also much more grocery items. The meat counter is the same and over time could benefit from slightly expanding. I've been there a few times since the remodel and have never left disappointed. Ill leave my original review below.
Convenient and great place to buy Mediterranean groceries. Fresh meat as well, beef, chicken, lamb. The service is always friendly and personable.

This is a great place to find good prices on traditional spices and dates. The prices are very fair, and the selection is excellent, the personal is very helpful, and the manager is very nice, I definitely recommend this place for those who want to spend an authentic Ramadan 🙂

I purchased two loaves of bread that were packaged in nylon. When we took them out of the packaging the next morning for breakfast, they were completely covered in mould. This habit of some Middle Eastern markets selling expired goods while pretending not to notice seems to have gone too far, don’t you think? Perhaps the right course of action now is to report it to the authorities rather than burden myself with further attempts.

A one stop shop that has all of the necessities. The staff is always super friendly and you can get in an out in a jiffy. My entire week of food prep can be addressed with one stop at The Souk.
