We came for lunch, traveling to FL. The decor is amazing with TV's everywhere. The ice cream & dessert section was very unique. She was very friendly & knew about the gluten-free options when we arrived. I ordered a drink, but my husband had the water that tasted horrible. There were large portions.

Stopped in while traveling to north Alabama and The Shack was a HIT! I had the half bbq chicken plate with okra and fried potatoes, maaaaaan! Massive serving size! Also had the blueberry bread pudding and it was delicious! Great staff, service and top notch food. Incredible menu!! Will definitely be back! Thank you Shack! A++++++

I stopped in on a road trip for a quick bite. Service was quick and friendly. I had the brisket sandwich and baked beans. I found both to be mediocre. The brisket tasted borderline charbroiled and had no real flavor. The baked beans were more wet from water than sauce.

First time but definitely not the last! The fried shrimp was probably the absolute BEST I've ever had (and I grew up eating it around the gulf as well as had an uncle that was a shrimp boat captain so believe me, I know my shrimp.)! Lightly dusted. Not overly breaded like most places. Very sweet taste and fried perfectly. The fries and onion rings were really good too! Not one thing was too greasy! Highly recommend and I'll be trying out the rest of the menu one item at a time!

I love some good bbq, so i loved my sandwich at The Shack! Looks like a new place but it has the flavor of that good ol little bbq shack we all miss that every town used to have. I loved this place, especially because they had a new appetizer they were trying out. I was astonished to see Filipino lumpias, fried and bbq pork inside, it was amazing. I had just gotten back from a trip to Manila and these were even better than the lumpia I had there!

good place to stop on the way to the beach. the hamburgers are big. i got a sausage sandwich but it wasnt very large. the sides were all good.

Bad! Bad! Do not stop here if you're passing by!!!! The server is too lazy to stop by the table, and there are only 2 tables. The hostess looks like she hates being there!! Food.. the worst out of all the experience!!! From 29 dollars, ribeye plate 30 percent was pure fat!! I mean, it's really just pure fat, but the server was never there or came by to ask how is the steak. Wow

We were told by Joe the owner of Blues Mechanic in Evergreen who was fixing our car that the Shack had a great food. We were not disappointed. Arianna was our server she was very pleasant and knowledgeable of menu items and the food was AMAZING, brisket very flavorful and tender.
