Had a horrible experience at Gipsons, on my way home stopped at Power Barn. Jeremy and Joe were awesome!!! They got my snowblower out of my vehicle and guaranteed my snowblower fixed the next day and it was. They showed professionalism and customer service. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with The PowerBarn of Jackson. My experience with them was nothing short of a disappointment.

Initially, we entrusted them with my Mother's garden tractor for diagnosis. We scheduled them to pickup the tractor and diagnose. They diagnosed the tractor and reported back to my mother the issues with the tractor. She ultimately did not want to proceed with the repairs due to the cost of repairs vs the cost of the tractor. They returned the tractor disassembled in the driveway with no way for my mother to move it into the garage. Spindles were removed, belts removed, and battery disconnected. They just left it there with no regard on how she would move it after they dropped it off. (The tractor itself was functioning prior to them picking it up for diagnosis.)

Subsequently, the owner offered to come pick the tractor up again, free of charge for the reassembly of the tractor, with the promise of delivery back to our house. However, they failed to show up on the agreed-upon day, leaving us in utter frustration and inconvenience.

Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue with the owner, we were met with nothing but resistance. Instead of offering a refund for their egregious errors (only $80.00), they persisted in pushing for another pickup, which we declined due to our lack of trust in their services after the initial debacle.

The lack of professionalism, accountability, and integrity displayed by The PowerBarn of Jackson is appalling. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. This establishment has proven themselves to be unreliable and untrustworthy, and I regret ever engaging with them.

Called ahead of time to asked about having my RTZ cub cadet LH hydrostatic drive rebuilt. Said to bring it down. I already removed it from the lawn mower. Once I got down here after driving 20 minutes. I was told they couldn't look at it or rebuild it unless it is in the mower. Total bs. Not sure why they need to remove it other than to charge me for extra labor. Spent two minutes in their parking lot and was able to find another shop that had ZERO ISSUES with rebuilding it and not pulling it out the mower themselves.

3 weeks back I took my snowblower in for repair. Was told carburetor needed cleaned and a new spark plug. Well today with first snowfall carburetor leak a whole tank of gas after 3 minutes of use. Theres know way they tested their work. $300 shot!! Called and they said they wouldn't back their repair. Stay away from Power barn! They have declined over the last few years. Know longer trust their service or sales.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. We left our Cub Cadet there after they reassured us they would have it repaired in two weeks. After two weeks we called and were told that they needed to check on it and they’d call us back. No call. We called them about four days later and they said they were waiting for parts. (Power Barn is an authorized Cub Cadet dealer). Another week went by and we called again. Miraculously, the parts had just come in! Never heard anything more from them, so we stopped in to the store. They couldn’t give us a status report because now the computers were down. They said they’d call us back when the computers were back up. No call. Two days later we called and were told hey would have it in 3-4 days (they’d had it for almost 5 weeks at this point.) We pushed back and were finally told they could have it done that day. But wait! They called us later that day to say it was done, but the truck they use to return the tractors was broken down , so they couldn’t get it back to us. We ended up borrowing a friend’s trailer and went and got it back ourselves. No apologies were offered - just more excuses. This was a horrible experience from beginning to end. I will never go back.
