The Morgan County Farmers Market has really grown and features some really good local farmers with awesome fresh produce and a few rare items at great prices.

It's worth the drive to visit the market but I do suggest getting there early, as the old saying goes, "the early bird gets the best produce"!

We have been several times lately and will go back again next Saturday. We found gems like seedless watermelon. Baby yellow squash, red potatoes, cabbage, fresh flowers, and eggplant. They also offer baked goods, honeys, barbecue sauces, lemonade, and rubs. There are also some that have fresh eggs and meat for sale. Check out their site as their are food trucks from time to time .

We got there as the vendors where packing to go home. We purchased a basket of peaches and 6 tomatoes. We tasted both while there. They were delicious! I'm so glad we have the Morgan County Farmers Market to purchase fresh produce and their homemade products

Great little setup. Shade and fans. Vegetables were in great shape. Only complaint is the parking lot. Watch the holes in a car.

I was disappointed to find, having driven myself and my dog to the farmer's market in Decatur, that it was totally empty. Not a soul in sight. So even though I know how nice it is when it's actually open, it isn't open right now no matter what Google maps says.
