We stopped in for dinner after our tournament. Krista was amazing waiting on our table and all other staff were wonderful with our kids as well. The girls loved it and the food was A++! We will be stopping in again when we are back in September.

I took my dad to the races for Father’s Day, and we decided to stop at The Fox Den for dinner on the way. We were all very glad that we did! I love my bacon cheeseburgers, and the Foxy is probably one of the biggest ones I’ve ever had!! I could only eat half! And it was sooo good! The onion rings are to die for! Dad had the fried shrimp dinner, and he said it was delicious! He really loved the fries. Lily had the chicken fingers, and she was really happy with them! And they have Widowmaker on tap! I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in Houghton Lake. We might just make the trip back to try the fried ice cream!!

Have been looking forward to our first visit and it did not disappoint. Friendly service & the food was fresh, hot & delishous. Sorry had half of mine eaten before I took the pic. Fish sandwich & Steak n Shrimp. Definitely recommed.

Great place for the family!! Wonderful food and atmosphere. Kids can play games like cornhole and basketball. Staff is good and manager is awesome. They closed at 8 but took us at 730 and we had a party of 11!! Highly recommend

Fantastic new Menu!! Great Covid Cautiouns!!! Very Spacious. Social distancing done easy! Indoor corn hole. Service was great as always. Thank you Bonnie! Loved my Garlic Spinach, Ceasar and steak. Hubby had Foxy Pig Burger bigger than he could bite. Dessert Butter Rum cake with fruit!

My prime rib was not really hot...luke warm I'd say. Service was great. Atmosphere is a bit industrial like...lots of space

Seating is very different, kind of felt like an old folks dining hall. Which is great if that what you’re looking far. Service was perfect! Lots of waitresses and great bartender. Food was all covered in garlic both the prime rib and ribeye my husband had. Way too much garlic in the fresh spinach - which really took away from the great taste.

Definitely a very weird setup. I wasn't sure what to expect but when we walked in it was like a dining hall with very little seating. The menu is confusing and the prices seem high for what you get. The side salad literally had 3 croutons, 3 small pieces of tomato and barely a Sprinkle of cheese. The cheese sticks were good and the French onion soup was good but the cod, red fox potatoes, and garlic mashed potatoes were not. The waitress was super nice and you can tell they're trying to bring more customers in but they need a new setup in there for sure. Might be back to try some other food or get the soup again.
