Ordered the brisket nachos. I must have missed the brisket. It was circle chips with alot of canned cheese sauce and bbq sauce topped with bacon. I asked to hold the jalapeños. They held them and also the grilled onions.

Nachos come with lettuce guacamole salsa olives sour cream jalapeños black beans.

Not worth the time when it's hot out. Felt like I was in an oven.

Play structure is great. Park isn't maintained as it has lots of garbage & the bark hasn't been replaced. The splash pad needs to be resurfaced. The bathrooms were locked, so there are no options for the kids. Only one restaurant is open lunch/dinner.

My husband and I were traveling and found this gem off the beaten path We love to visit cool local places, and The Fort did not disappoint. Great place to hang out! There were several food truck options for grub and treats. We had an amazing burger and fries from Blues Burger and grabbed a tasty local beer from the Tap Station Plenty of outdoor seating with great fans to keep you cool We couldn't believe this place wasn't packed. Very family friendly with lots of things, including a park, giant screen for movies and splash pad, to keep the kiddos entertained. Come on out Alabama and show some local support for The Fort!

Super dead. Hardly any restaurants left. Not very well kept. If you’re looking for a cool place to grab lunch this isn’t it. Gravel under the gazebos also isn’t super accessible or convenient for strollers.

Excellent stop! Tasty BBQ, poke bowls, gourmet burgers, tacos, coffee, etc. Slightly pricey, but high quality. Covered tables with plenty of fans. Huge kids' area with 5 playsets and a splash pad as well. We will absolutely be back!

We really enjoyed our time there. We ate lunch there and after lunch we all bought ice cream or an milk shake which was all good. I know we will be going back again. It is a great place out in the open to have luch and refreshments. And to breath the fresh air. It is a family place to go where there are no alcohol allowed. And I really did like that. I also seen it had a big screen tv there you can kick back and watch sports on it.

I wanted to love it. The area has so much potential. BUT there was garbage everywhere. In the pond. Overflowing out of the trash can. In the park. Everywhere.
The bathroom was covered in offensive graffiti.
We had food at double D’s which was so yummy. The games there were so fun. We couldn’t get ice cream because there was only one person working and she could not go to the ice cream shack.

Pretty cool place. Maybe because it's cold there's not much going on but it's got some cool places to eat, not to mention it's made out of containers.
