We had loaded bowls here today and they were really great! All the meats are smoked and so yummy. I had the brisket with the home made tots and my husband had the chicken and Mac n cheese. There isn’t a ton of seating but we went late afternoon so didn’t have trouble finding a seat. There are 4 large wood picnic tables. We will definitely be back!

We stopped here for lunch and it was hands down the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had. Nice cuts of meat, great sauce, and a soft bun. The mashed potato tots were excellent too. Husband had the bacon cheeseburger and said the BBQ sauce was fantastic.

We loved it so much at Parent Weekend that we came back during Winter Carnival! I got the Forge Burger this time with Garlic Cheese Curds. Fantastic! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing burger- probably the best I’ve ever had. My family had the pulled pork and brisket sandwich which were phenomenal as well. Excellent fresh fries and cheese curds too. Definitely will be back!!!

food was delicious and service was even better. they were out of brisket but the burgers were perfectly cooked and flavorful. the tater tots are like giant fluffy deep fried mashed potato spheres. who doesn’t love deep fried potatoes. didn’t catch the name of the lady on the front register but she definitely won the employee of the year in my book. when she brought us our food she mentioned that she had accidentally dropped a tater tot (which we likely wouldn’t even have noticed) and fried one more fresh to make up for it and also gave us a free dessert because they had run out of brisket.
went back the next day for brisket before they could sell out.

When you came in to the restaurant you could smell the smoked meat. Not over whelming just enough to increase your anticipation of how great the food was going to be. Which it was. The pulled pork was tasty and lean.... No fatty pieces. The FF and Mac sides were great. The fries were lightly salted with big salt what a bonus! Some of the best fries I've had. The presentation was excellent reflecting the care and pride of ownership. Definitely worth the short drive from Houghton or Calumet. Plenty of parking by the VA clinic and Pats IGA. Dine in.

Great burgers and tots! I like my tots crispy, so I asked and they were more than happy to do it. The tots are home made! The buns on the burger are excellent.
