Good food and service. Our waitress was Haleigh Hudson. I will be back solely because of the service from her. She didn't let us run out of drink, always came by to check on us making sure we didn't need anything asking if our meal was good. Would carry on a conversation and had a sweet personality. In today's world good workers are hard to find. As a manager I was very impressed with her attentiveness and kindness and would recommend everyone go ask for her! You will not be disappointed!

They have really wonderful team. Anna was the best. Helpful and kind. Good eating! The depot buger is the best buger that I have had in a long time. Will be back. Great service.

I’ve tried this place several times and while at first I was impressed, I’ve noticed repeat issues which are unacceptable for the price. A lot of these reviews over hype this place because it’s the only “restaurant” in Florala.
The burgers are AMAZING if you get them at lunch. Don’t even bother doing dinner at this place. It’s over crowded, they take the phone off the hook, and your food will be wrong. Even the correction will be wrong so you end up paying for their Depot Burger but get a slapped together regular burger with the meat and toppings from the first incorrectly made burger.
The fries are disgusting every single time you get them. They’re consistently soaked in grease and mushy as if someone doesn’t know how to properly prepare simple fries. Not sure how they’re getting this wrong but all 3 times they haven’t been edible. While I’ll probably go back hoping to get an awesome Depot Burger, I have to rate this place only marginally better than the local Hardee’s.
Photo 4 is what I was supposed to get. 1-3 is what I got the second time which was still incorrect. Wrong size and missing cheese, bacon, and fried green tomatoes. The wait staff are always courteous and friendly. Probably the only thing this place has going for it. Save yourself the disappointment and just drive to Crestview.

What a wonderful first time experience. The atmosphere, the food and the service were all immaculate! From enjoying the live music, to meeting the owner who came to our table to greet us personally. Our superior server Amber, handled our table of 15 with friendly kindness and efficiency we couldn’t have been treated better. Highly highly recommend The Depot for a large party and small. Will definitely be back!

Update. Still amazing. Our motorcycle group went here. Great atmosphere. Go back into time while you dine in a train Depot. Service was outstanding. Food is real down home cooking. Simple and delicious. This sleepy town has a beautiful lake to walk around too!

Ate at The Depot tonight and while the food was alright, the service was terrible. Our waitress had a large party in addition to us. We were seated and the hostess grabbed our drinks and let us know it would be a bit before our server came by as she was getting the party settled. Our order was taken about 15 minutes later. We were patient as we both have worked in the restaurant industry. My husband ordered the AYCE Crab legs. Our food came out and when the server came back to check on us, my husband requested a refill on his crab. Nearly 45 minutes later the refill still had not arrived and we were ready to go. Our son had long since finished his dinner. The server walked by and asked him if he wanted a refill of crab. He stated he was ready to go and would just like to pay for what he actually received as they had an AYCE option and a pay by the pound option. A few minutes later, a woman who I presume to be a manager came by. She was serving the table next to us but did not give her name or introduce herself, she just walked up to the table and asked what the problem was. We explained that we had been sitting for an hour and a half at this point and we were ready to go. The manager(?) then proceeded to explain to us how the server had a party and they were a server short and down a kitchen guy and that means things take a while. I explained to her that it was obvious that the ordered refill was forgotten and we just we wanted to pay our bill and go. She argued that the server didn’t forget but had no answer as to why she asked my husband if he wanted more as he sat with his empty plate. The manager was rude and argumentative and took a situation that was mildly irritating and made it infuriating. She acted like she was doing us a favor by billing us for 2 pounds when actuality the crab consumed was roughly a pound to a pound and a half. The potatoes and sausage served with the boil looked they had been sitting out for about 2 weeks before being served. The approach of the manager was the ultimate issue as her tone and what she conveyed made it sound like we were putting them out even though we went out of our way to be understanding as we have been there. We usually spend weekends in Florala and made The Depot our regular Saturday night date spot but we will be very unlikely to return due to the hostility of the manager in a situation that could have been easily resolved and did not require her intervention.

Edit to add: Called to discuss as requested, left a message over a week ago and received no follow up. Just wanted to update in case anyone saw this review and thought someone from the Depot actually cared about the negative experience
