A friend and I went for a nice lunch on 7/18/2024. The bread basket was a variety of different delicious breads served with butter and a honey mustard sauce. The salad we had was very good and full of flavor. We were served by the instructor. We had to ask to have our waters refilled. We noticed everyone received a small scoop of raspberry sorbet before their entree. We did not. In fact we asked three times before she brought it to our table AFTER our entree. We both ordered chicken Marsala only a few chunks of chicken. The potatoes it was served with were good and hot. The chicken Marsala had been sitting a while and was barely luke warm. When brought to waiters attention we were told she watched it come right out of the pan. May a cold pan. Would not recommend.

I went in with reservations for a group of 20. We arrived early and we're asked to wait, which we were good with. Once seated @ 11:45am we got our bread and drinks quickly right after we ordered our meals. Others came in after our group and we're served their meals all before any of our meals were brought out. I asked at 1pm why others that came in after us were eating and our server said our food was delayed because of our group size. My question why have a reservation? Why did the restaurant take a reservation if they are not setup to handle that size of a group?

My wife took me out for a birthday lunch to the Courses Restaurant (operated by the Culinary Institute). We had a beautiful setting with a view of the river, delicious and attractively presented gourmet food at a very reasonable price. The filet mignon with the potato pave, and the gazpacho soup were particular favorites. We will return soon!

Third visit. The food did not measure up to previous visits. Very disappointing. The people are great. I don’t understand why the food has changed. It was not hot and just not good tasting. 😟
