I decided to do a lease to own on a broaster from Taylor Freezer (Traverse City location) back in 2016. My fiance/business partner and I went up to the company in Traverse city and watched a demonstration of the product and decided we did in fact want to purchase one for our restaurant. The contract we signed was a lease to own with payments of roughly $450/month until paid off. We had also purchased a large food display warmer at this same time. After roughly 2 years of having this equipment my fiance contacted our sales person to find out how much was till owed on the equipment, as we were in the position to pay it off and wanted to do so. At that time we were told that the lease to purchase option was no longer available and we would not get credit for the thousands and thousands of dollars we had already paid toward the 2 pieces of equipment. After being told that we decided to have them come get their equipment. We asked if we could purchase the food display warmer at a discounted rate due to the fact that we had already paid over 5 grand for it but was told that was not an option! We are very disgusted with the business practices of this company and HIGHLY recommend that nobody EVER do a lease to own through them or you will surely get screwed over!! Terrible company and Terrible customer care!! I couldn't rate a zero as it is not an option but that is what I give them!!
