Very cute place to definitely come check out!
Not perfect but a good local patch:)
Needs more fixing up
The hay ride with boring views was dusty and hot. No one on it looked impressed or like they were having fun.
Muddy walk way in the field needs to be fixed where everyone is walking to get pumpkins.
I'm sure they just need more time to get everything just right 👍
Take a hat or umbrella and good shoes!

We sure love this little farm in the country! Since it’s opening we’ve been to numerous events (Christmas wreath making, pumpkin patch, summer dinners, Kids Day, even had them decorate the front porch for Fall as a surprise for a family member) and they’ve all been such wonderful experiences/memories! We live in the area and my 3 year old asks weekly if we can go visit the farm. The people are friendly, helpful and always improving the grounds & things to do in order to make each experience that much more enjoyable. Our favorite part is that this is a working farm and we get to see what small, family-owned production agriculture looks like… right in our backyard. Highly recommend a visit to Sweet Thistle & Rocky Oaks!

I'm a huge fan! I love that this place offers kids and families a complete pumpkin patch experience in a beautiful countryside setting. The owners are very meticulous and put a ton of energy and time into creating a fun atmosphere for everyone. They have a variety of pumpkins in all sizes, colors and textures... some of which I've never seen anywhere else. I love seeing the kiddos just run around and enjoy being out on the farm.

Going out to Sweet Thistle Farms is our annual tradition! It’s a pumpkin patch that appeals to all ages. Such cute photo areas, vendors, food trucks, farm animals, all types of pumpkins and hayrides for the kids. We have been to other pumpkin patches around the area and this one by far is our favorite.
If you want a fun family day with all of the fall feels check out Sweet Thistle Farms!
So happy we found this place!

Days prior to going here I checked their website, Instagram, reviews, etc etc & not once did it mention anything about a fee entrance. Was very shocked to see that the entrance was $25 for a very small “pumpkin patch”. & I use quotes because there was hardly any pumpkins. Everything was dry, it’s not a petting zoo either, you just watch the animals eat. They have a tractor ride but that’s about it. Nothing to offer for such an expensive entrance.. very disappointing pumpkin patch, you’re better off going to Hillcrest Pumpkin patch.

Was shocked when they charged $25 just to get onto the property. Never had to do that anywhere. The last 8 years we have gone to local pumpkin patches from Mariposa to Fresno and have never paid so much for so little as this place. Everything over priced from $7 lemonaid (mostly ice) to $75 children dress in one of their vendors. Other places had real petting zoos, bounce houses, pony rides, better corn maze etc. Kid driving the tractor ride (a bouncy, dusty ride around an acre) was irritated when he wasn't getting tips in his plastic bag tapped to the tractor. Like other places I expected to pay a lot for pumpkins because of the experience (65.00 for 4 medium pumpkins) but they had so much more to offer without gouging their community.
