One satisfied customer shared, 'Just happened to be in the area before a meeting looking for a snack and stumbled into Sushirrito. I frequent the ones in the city so decided to give it a try. I was only waiting for about 10min before my order was ready. I chose The Cowboy. Fresh and plentiful I'm glad I listened to my gut. 8/10 it taste like a bulgogi sushi burrito, a little greasy but nowhere near the point that it drips. Will definitely be back.' Another reviewer noted, 'I love the concept of sushi burritos The flavors are unique and delicious. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is fun and trendy.'

Interesting concept on the fast casual scene. The food actually tastes pretty good with rich sauces to prevent the roll from being dry. The tempura breading was also light and crispy. Options are limited and two of the items were not available. A good alternative place to go for a quick bite but a little pricey.

We ordered Panko-Crusted Spam Musubi, Salmon Samba and Latin Ninja. Latin Ninja and Salmon Samba was really good and fresh. I am not sure about Spam Musubi though. It was crispy but hard to taste the spam inside. One Sushirrito is good enough for one or two people. In our case we had those for lunch and saved leftovers for dinner. I will definitely go back to try other Sushirrito again.

The sushi burrito overall was okay, even though there was a decent amount of salmon it didn’t seem to have too much flavor. Also it got a bit soggy if you don’t eat it right away but that’s expected. For the price of the burrito you can get better bang for your buck at other places nearby.

Had the Latin Ninja, very average, lettuce ruins the whole thing IMO, and salmon was supposed to be raw, but tasted like it was partially cooked.

I'd say it's slightly lower quality than a Safeway sushi roll, but 50% more expensive.

Staff was incredibly fast and friendly.

Atmosphere is standard chain counter style, relatively clean.

This is an underrated yummy reliable place to grab a bite in Palo Alto. Affordable, quick service, and yummy. I love that they have sauces for you to easily try at each table. That kind of makes the experience too, being able to customize and not have to get annoying packets. I Recommend the shrimp tempura handroll and the Latin ninja. Check it out for some casual lunch or dinner

Visiting Palo Alto on my yearly trek to the Bay Area with my friend and his son, we passed this restaurant. It had a open air entrance so we could smell the food. Checked out the well laid out menu on the wall and tried it out. Very large portions and it fun to watch them make the sushiritos. I had a tempura crab with spicy sauce rolled in red pank crust. It was about the same as eating a 10-12 piece roll but easier to eat IMO. This is a chain and I hope that they make an appearance in the Midwest some day! Thanks for a great lunch!

A sushi in burrito form sounds weird, but works so beautifully. The seating can be a pain since there's only a few tables which can take a while to clear out, but they put all the burritos in a box so you can easily take it to go. The serving size is very generous and it honestly is just a giant sushi roll.
At first, I (being a vegetarian) was pretty skeptical, especially when I saw they only had one veggie option: the Buddha Belly roll. It was a delicious flavor rollercoaster, varying from sweet to salty to crunchy. I cannot handle spicy food usually, but I was completely fine since the eggplant and pickled veggies dominated my taste palette. My non-vegetarian friends prefer this place as much as any sushi restaurant and generally like the Sumo Crunch the most.
