A beautiful and laid back outdoor space to hang out with friends and family. Kid-friendly and pet-friendly. The currywurst was amazing!

Came here after looking for “hidden gems in Kalamazoo”. Happy to report this is the case. The food is great and the outdoor atmosphere is so beautiful. We plan on coming back to try their other dishes!

Steinspark welcomes our furry family members! Our dogs sit home all week while we work. On the weekend I spoil my Princess by taking her to Steinspark. She loves their bratwurst & cucumber salad. I go crazy for their JagerSchnitzel and the Currywurst. They pour traditional German style beers in huge steins. The beer isn't hoppy like American beer it's more malty and sweet. I give Steinspark a 5 star rating for quality food and for allowing dogs to enjoy a piece of Germany!

Unique German-style Beer Garden. Outdoor large table seating and German dishes crafted by a retired German food technology with great attention to detail and ingredient quality. Good beer selection.

They open late during the summer months and offer live music for a nice evening with friends and family.

Of course being outdoors it’s subject to the weather but totally recommend giving it a try.

Super dog friendly with a relaxed zen vibe and delicious food. Can definitely see myself being a regular at Steinpark Biergarten.
My family of four (two adults and two children) ordered a variety of food and shared it. Currywurst, burger, fries, hot dogs and draft poured beers were all on the table. Currywurst and the pork burger are the best. A hot dog is a hot dog. The pretzel was oily which was odd.
Biergarten was clean with a mix of cement and mulch underfoot. Bathrooms were really clean and pleasant. Handicap accessible throughout. In order for your dog to be welcomed, you must have it leashed which is reasonable.
Parking is plentiful and convenient.

As a dog owner I was excited to see how welcome my Pomeranian was at Biergarten. Immediately after sitting down a gentleman offered to bring Mochi a water dish and numerous little treats. Fellow dog owners please don't ruin it! Be respectful and let's enjoy taking our pups out for a bite.

Jäger schnitzel is simply the best thing in Kalamazoo.
I recommend getting it with those fried noodles on the side.

This is just the cutest place, it feels like it’s in the middle of the forest and all the fairy lights make you focus on the moment.

I think they close their kitchen around 20:00, but you can still hang around there. Their beer is great, they have beer from the keg, wines and everything.

The environment is amazing, but when we were there, there were no indoor sitting and it can get pretty chilly, and full of mosquitoes.

Also! They have board games, so you can bring your friends and have a good beer night.

Wow! This was a great find. Weather dependent but lots of outdoor seating. The beer actually comes from Germany, and the food is extremely close to what you get in Germany, too. I still have yet to find a traditional German pretzel, but everything else was great.

Authentic German food, just like my Oma made. Great location / setting. Just east on Milham past Portage Rd. Felt like I was back in Deutschland. Great service.
