I purchased some expensive football boots for my son, on line . After a few weeks the toe area started to split. 3 attempts to contact via email finally after several emails and photos sent of the damage I was told that I could get a returns label to send them back for inspection. That was 2 weeks ago and have had no response since. DO NOT ORDER ON LINE AS YOU CANNOT RETURN GOODS TO STORES IN PERSON AND ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT .

I purchased a pair of ASICS running trainers from Sports Direct Online. After 9 weeks and less than 100 miles the outer sole has started coming away at the back of one of the shoes. After sending them back for inspection SD have stated it is damaged from heavy use. All the tread is still fully visible and barely dirty. Furthermore l this has only affected one shoe. They are refusing to exchange or refund and refusing to disclose the criteria they used for assessing wear.

Sports Direct *could* be the best sports shop in the UK, but for some reason they're determined to offer the worst customer service possible. Why?

If Sports Direct combined its huge range of products with great customer care, shoppers wouldn’t go anywhere else. However, with such abysmal care when things so wrong, it’s often more hassle than it’s worth to shop here and slowly more and more people are choosing to go elsewhere. If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, or have any other problem with your order, that’s when you realise Sports Direct actively choose not to help, making it as difficult as possible for the customer to have their problem resolved. Of course, if you’ve no issues with the products you order, all appears well, it’s when things go wrong that the cracks are all too apparent.

So, why have they not improved customer care? A quick glance through the reviews here clearly demonstrate that things simply aren’t good enough and customers are unhappy. One can only assume that as part of the Frasers Group, those in charge, namely, owner Mike Ashley, CEO Michael Murray and MD of Sports Ger Wright, have a disregard for their customers, they just do not care about customer satisfaction. It’s such a shame, Sports Direct could do so much better but chooses not to.

Bought PS5 online via app. It was supposed to be ready for collection from the store within 7 days of purchase. After a week I was told that nothing has been done with the order and I can wait another week to find out what's happening.
Decided to cancel the order and get refund, took ages for them to process that as well.

AVOID!!!

Staff are like robots, maybe some customer service training would benefit them. Not even a smile , a hello , nothing . Why is it do hard to find a place with good service nowadays?

What I normally don't like about sports direct is that even though the ships are a decent size they are massively overstocked meaning that you cannot walk around them without bumping into people or trying over the stock. This sports direct is different in that it as absolutely massive. This not only allows for more stock but the stock can be spread further apart allowing you to walk around freely.

Mike Ashley's idea of black Friday is full price Friday. Only things on offer are in damaged packaging. Game is an absolute let down with everything still priced over MSRP even today. Dog turd.
