Still no power been waiting 4days now to get the power turned on. No call from any reps and the bs number you have to call leads you to doing online bs with out getting to talk to anyone. Was hoping the power was goimg to get turn on but it didnt and all Food in the refrigerator went bad and the summer heat is starting to rise yet we still have no power. Edison is worse then the DMV when is comes service.

I have used the payment arrangement service and it turns out they still put the account as past due just for using it. Now I went to transfer service and they are charging me 225 dollar deposit because I didn't pay on time. It is supposed to be refundable if you pay on time every month but then they jacked up the price on my bill. I don't even have house ac just a unit and my last bill was 155 and all of a sudden this bill is 310. This review doesn't matter because this company will always have a license to legally steal. Just wanting people who use the payment arrangement service beware! So much for being on the care program too.

Advised by rep, on a Friday at 11 am to initiate transfer and turn on of service online. Recieved confirmation that services would be turned on same day. Called no day when services were not on to inquire. Waited 3 hours to speak to rep to be advised that I had to be without power until monday, even though erro was identified as their fault. Also, even after meeting emergency turn on criteria for medical equipment, small children distance learning, and working from home. Called Monday am, to see if I could be prioritized as time window of turn on is 8 am to 5 pm, advised no. No escalation available either, even though it was possible on Friday. Reps callous , rude, and lacking of emotional intelligence. I will be consulting lawyer and filing an sce claim for damages. This is ridiculous. Especially since services are turned on remotely!!!!!! Complete lack of compassion and empathy!

This is the epitome of an evil monopoly.

Edison likes to pretend like they're on the side of the consumer. However, when you make a change, like installing solar, Edison turns into a spiteful monster.

If you're not aware, you generally pay between 12-39 cents a kW for your electricity. Well guess what? When you switch to solar, you are forced to switch to another plan which conveniently jacks up your rates to nearly 50 cents at the very moment when your solar power is waning. Oh, and they reduced the amount they pay you for energy you generate to 1-2 cents a kW. In essence you are providing free electricity to Edison all day long, then when you need power you are changed exorbitant rates. To make it worse, when you switch to Solar, it’s unlikely you’ll ever generate enough electricity to break even under these new rates. So, you’ll be paying Edison, and your solar provider. This is a total scam, and a massive deterrent to anyone switching to solar power.

Now, knowing this is anyone surprised that the idiots in Sacramento passed a law requiring solar on all new homes? They don't care about the environment. They care about who's lining their pockets. By forcing all of California to go solar, you are forcing every new homeowner into this inflated rate structure. Edison gets free power, and gets to charge consumers more for the ability to use clean energy. Effectively, Edison was allowed to provide less service, and charge more.

1 star for two reasons. They have terrible service when you request information for billing. The branch seems inadequate. I applied to a position and they sent me to LA to take a test, passed, then they told me I'm not qualified. They hire unqualified employees so long as their mom or dad already work there.

Just moved to Menifee on a weekend and this power company can't turn your power on during the weekend?!?!?! Do they just expect people to move during the week only? Now we are forced to be out of power for the next 2 days. Now I see why their rating is horrible. Trash power company!!!!

I live in heritage mobile home park. Its 104 its 8.07pm.we all here over 55 some over ninty years old your note at our club house reads tuesday 8am to 3pm you r shut down all power .some people dont have a car some cant walk You pick now the hottest week to fry us how do you sleep at nite.
