10/08/24 Edit-As usual you go into a long excuse. You did offer for me to bring back my T bones so you could cut strips and filets. What good is a 3/4 inch filet? Why would I risk you losing even more of my meat. I have gotten a half a cow from this same producer for years. Our hanging weight has been almost exactly the same. Their cows are not underweight or malnourished. The difference in the amount of hamburger meat we received is staggering. Hmm…How are those sausage sales going?

When my partner asked if you could pull up last years cut sheet, you told her you couldn’t. Conveniently when you ā€œmade a mistakeā€ you suddenly could pull up last years cut sheet and that is why you made a mistake on my cuts. I submitted my cut sheet through your own website. If you truly used last years cut sheet, then where are my flank and skirt steaks? Why didn’t I get those? I believe you had some other excuse for that.

As far as the T-Bones go, they sure weren’t ā€œchimmedā€ the previous year. I can’t even find that term on the internet when it comes to cutting beef. Funny now that I think about it, I researched a lot of the excuses you gave me back in May and couldn’t find anything to back up your excuses then either, especially the one about why you couldn’t give us the tallow we asked for. My ribeyes which you claim were cut the same way were boneless ribeyes this year. How come? If you went by last years cut sheet why wasn’t there a bone in it like last year.

I was not aware of any incident with the producer.

If your B.S excuses about your decision to block everyone associated with that producer were true, I would have been blocked back in May. That wasn’t the case, you blocked me after I messaged you yesterday! Just another excuse to cover for your unprofessionalism.

I understand you would prefer me to call you but if you wanted to discuss this privately, you would have messaged me back instead of blocking me. Which is what prompted this review. So here we are.

Beware!!!! We have used them twice. The first time was good and we were satisfied. This past year was horrible. We had almost the exact same hanging weight but so much less meat. Everything was much smaller. The chuck roasts are half the size, we got half the amount of hamburger etc. He did not cut according to the cut sheet. He told the person that got the other half that he couldn’t pull up last years cut sheet but when I questioned him about the wrong cuts I received, he said they accidentally pulled last years cut sheet. Hmm…he lied to one of us I ordered strips and filets. I got T bones. I pulled out two T bones to grill this past weekend and the tops were cut off. I sent the following message to them on their Facebook Messenger along with a picture:

Really? Not only did you not give me what I ordered strips and filets. You don’t even know how to cut a T Bone. Where is the rest of it?

Guess what their response was? They blocked me from their page.

See photos!

Just beware of this company, the guy has a lot of excuses and some pretty questionable cuts.

We had 4 red wattle hogs processed here and couldn't be more pleased. David is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and very generous with his pig knowledge! If we ever raise another set of hogs he will be my first call!

Fantastic group of people. I’ve sent around a dozen hogs to get processed for different costumers over the last year. Not a single complaint. The old school method of smoking and curing they use is unmatched, one of the best in my opinion.
Our small business and family will continue to support this business!

We had 2 pigs processed here in July. I was very happy with what we got out of them. The smoked ham steak and sausage taste wonderful. I've got enough meat to last my family a while. Thank you so much.
