Great spot! So good my buddy and I came back for a second meal on our short trip. They have the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, The Hot Chick! Can't recommend it enough!

Would also recommend the Brussels sprouts! We went for dinner one evening at the bar and sat outside for lunch a different time. Great vibes all around! Drinks were good too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Solana Beach Kitchen, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome.

What truly set this visit apart was how special they made my dog feel. It’s not every day you find a place that treats your furry friend with such kindness and attention. They provided water and even a small treat, making sure our pup was as comfortable as we were.

The service was outstanding, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Each dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and met our expectations perfectly.

Solana Beach Kitchen has truly created a wonderful environment for both people and their pets. We left feeling appreciated and special, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The only reason this is four stars is that the pricing is just too high. I had their fish taco and a regular drink and before tip it was 30.00 for a one person lunch. There was nothing extraordinary about the fish tacos. I mean they were good but not priced right for a lunch item. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back there although our office a really close, because it wouldn’t make sense financially. They can have so many more patrons of they set more realistic process. It was pretty much empty today so I think others think the same. Service was amazing and it has a nice ambiance.

Very solid. Crispy Brussels and Cauliflower. Also the brisket is better than I’ve had at BBQ places like Phil’s. It’s crispy and fatty and delicious. Would definitely come back.

Fried calamari was good. The chicken club was a bit dry. Fish taco was fresh and good. Service was fairly quick. The place was clean with plenty of tables available on Saturday. Restrooms were clean. Family' friendly. Plenty of free parking in Plaza. Free soda refills. Seating options are Indoor tables, bar seating and outdoor patio.

We were traveling and decided to stop and ask if we could bring my daughter's dog and eat on the patio. The young man at entrance said no it was too hot, bring it inside and have it stay under the table. We order our food, which was delicious and large portions. Everyone was nice that worked there. If we go that way again we will stop to eat. I would highly recommend them.
