Silver Spruce is my favorite brewery in town, and the Silver Lake location and Eighth Street location are equidistant from my home. Silver Lake location has table side service from Francisco's and the usual wide selection of beers, cider, and wine. The beers on tap are very seasonal, so there's always something new to try when I go in. Even some that have cycled before are better when they come back - the Oktoberfest beer is a great example of that. They had two versions before, and the latest iteration was just one version that combined the best parts of the other two. I love how it just keeps getting better, and it's fun to cross my fingers and hope for some of my favorites to have come back, every time I go in. If you love beer variety, a laid back ambiance, and delicious fancy pizza or daily specials from a nearby local venue served table side, I highly recommend checking this out.

Great beer. Excellent food. I love that the meat is sourced from a local farm — Anavery on Secor Rd. The pizza crust is definitely house made and super fresh. Bonus points for handing out scissors at the table for us to cut the pizza. 😂 Love, Love the fried risotto appetizer, and arugula salad with pine nuts is delicious.
