What an amazing New Year's Eve experience at the #Shumei America Spiritual Fellowship, Pasadena, CA. The event began at 10pm outside in a courtyard for the Purification Ceremony. A fire was created in a small container and participants were given ice cream sticks and asked to write on them all that no longer serves them and not to be brought into the new year and therefore needs to be released. After, participants were given burning sage blessings and all surrounded the burning logs for the warmth and to meditate on letting go of 2019!

I'm not a member of this organization, however I can vouch for their natural agriculture rice. I drive out of my way just to pick it up. Been buying it for 10 years now. Just picked up 22lbs of it today. Natural Agriculture akitokamachi white rice is my favorite. Cleaner than organic and grown locally in central CA by a farmer speciallizing in natural agriculture practices. I tried Tamaki Gold rice sold at Mitsuwa...nope, not even close. If you know quality rice, trust me, this Natural Agriculture rice is the best.

The site for an Art Night performance (Makoto Taiko). Both the Taiko and the venue are first-rate.
