Excellent deli! Real Weisswurst mit Kraut und German potato salad. Solid Mediterranean salad and an inside retail deli that takes hours just to browse. Great store, great service. Courtside tables outside. There's a real Italian deli next door and a sushi restaurant that's going to be next. Main Street, Santa Monica about 2 blocks from the ocean.

I’ve been going to Shoop’s since 2002. We stopped in for breakfast after almost 10 years away from living in LA. The only thing that has changed is that they now have outdoor dining and an area where they sell beer and wine. Everything all the way down to their body wrap (which I love and always get) is still to this day the best! Their little market and deli carry so many things you’ll not find anywhere else. If you’ve not been before you have to! The owners and staff are always so friendly.

You just can’t go wrong here. We had the Gravlax (cured in-house) sandwich, added a couple poached eggs and a side of avocado and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Will be back! Also best selection of Haribo anywhere!

The blueberry pancakes were incredible. Something about the pancake batter just was WOW!!
We also enjoyed the bacon cheddar omelette. Great unique flavors and spices.

Walked from the pier in search of some delicious breakfast. Was NOT disappointed. Food was so good we returned back the next day. It was a little chilly that morning, too chilly to take advantage of the outside seating. Are inside. Had the bacon pancakes one time and a chicken avocado wrap the next. Service was great and quick. Good coffee. Can’t wait til I’m back in town, will return!

This is a restaurant located in a gourmet grocery store. Kind of fun because you can look at unique groceries while waiting for your food to arrive. The pancakes were unbeatable. I don't usually order pancakes for breakfast but my friend said they were so good so I had to get them! Yum! Yum. The coffee was good too.

If you're looking for very chewy and fluffy pancakes with a wide selection of flavors, Shoop's is for you. Personally, I thought the pancakes were a little too tough to be the best I've had (think the kind of pancakes you make a home where only half the pancake has toppings), but the selection, flavor, and staff were enough for an enjoyable experience

Shoop's is one of my favorite breakfast spots in LA. I've taken a ton of out of town guests there and everyone loves it. There's ample cheap parking right behind the restaurant and you're only 2 blocks from the ocean to go for a stroll, read in the park, or whatever else suits your fancy.

The menu is full of delicious options for the sweet and savory palettes - nothing has ever failed me. My all time favorite is the Bacon Cheddar Jalapeño Pancake though - the texture and flavor is exactly what I want for breakfast.

The service is speedy and the staff are attentive and friendly - I'm never wanting for coffee or water refills. You pay inside when you are done.

The inside is a high density / efficiency market vibe but cozy enough. Outside seating is in the former parking lot, so ambiance isn't the best, but you can bring your dog and enjoy the fresh air, which is always nice.
