We came to eat breakfast with 10 adults and 6 children. We were very disappointed with shomeys when we found out that they didn't have enough food to feed us. Then they insisted that we can order from the menu. My suggestion is don't eat at shoneys in Dothan Alabama. We ended up spending a lot of money and the food was not that great. We would have been better off going to Golden corral. So shoneys gets a minus 10 rating from our family of 16

Food was ok but not really hot. The place could use some upgrade. The host sat us at a booth with a torn seat where there were other booths with decent seats available. One of the orders the waitress came back with was incorrect.

We haven’t been to this location in a really really long time. But they had the best price for a buffet on new years and had what we were wanting on the buffet. So my husband and I decided to give it a try. It’s normally very empty but it was very busy that day. We were seated fast and our waitress was very sweet. No you don’t have the huge buffet variety, but we actually preferred that. The food was hands down amazing. It was like my home cooking. Our waitress was on point to check on us but not too much where it got annoying. She refilled before you were even close to the bottom of your glass. That’s a pet peeve for us. The price was amazing! $9.99 per person for lunch! We got a to go plate to take to our daughter since she had to work and was about to go on lunch. She said it was really good and was shocked it came from there. The restaurant was very clean. We noticed a sign that said new owners. So I guess this is why everything was great.

Came in yesterday and had a waitress named Jackie, she was the best and was very polite. She helped me get my food off the buffet since I'm handicapped with a prosthetic leg.

Me and my fiance stopped in on the way down and on the way back from Florida and both times we had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

The buffet/salad bar was clean and well maintained. The food was good.
The restaurant itself needs a little updating with older carpet and tables/chairs.

They closed all of the Shoney's in my area/state ... Food was just as I remembered .. delicious 😋

Just all around nice place. Breakfast buffet had lots of choices and everything was kept hot and filled up.
