Shiawassee county fairground just keeps getting better and better every year. There's a ton of parking. They have good attractions every day and decent grand stand acts at night. There is so much to see and do. They have the usual fair rides from an amusement company and tons of great food trucks. And of course, you've got all the animals that keep the arena full and hopping every day. You have local car dealerships and local tractor dealers showcasing their goods. The commercial barn and the exhibitor barns are packed also. And it's always clean, the fair employees keep it spotless. It's always a good time!

Best county fair anywhere! Better wear your walking shoes, lots of ground to cover! The Surrey is super, the horses and their owners are great! Lots of beautiful animals along with every snack you could want. Don't miss the Deep Fried Veggies! Thank you for the benches all along the way! The people at the gate are a bit over the top... I told them I have a pass at the trailer, they kept shaking their heads and bossing me to turn around (Sorry, only my mother still bosses me). I drove through, went to trailer, retrieved forgotten pass and provided it to the more professional gate watcher further down the hill! I remembered some people think they are perfect and didn't allow it to spoil my time! Thanks!

Love the open areas and the variety of displays and animals. 4H building has real food, and of coarse lots of carny food and fun people to interact with. Grandstand entertainment is extra, but they have great attractions there. This year no birds on site but the kids could still enter them with photographs.

The people are always so nice. If you're handicapped they have golf carts to help you get around. Thanks for all the hard work you all do!

It was a great day watching the draft horse show, and the Custer Cowboys. The food was great, except the cheeseburger from the 4H made me sick, they probably cook them a little then leave them sitting out a long time then reheat them.
I hope they have the draft horses pull the surreys next year! That's one of the greatest things.
The helicopter flying around was noisey, and I'm sure it scared the animals.

Pretty good place with lot's of acction and animals that will get your attention. While traveling with the Skerbeck Family Carnival. Even have a few friends with their children, including Bill Skerbeck with one of his beautiful grandbaby. . .
