Worst service of any utility I have ever experienced. Shasta CSD has lost three payments, charged late fees because of it, miraculously "found" the payments days and weeks later and then refused to reverse the late fees. They say I should pay by Credit Card, yet they charge extra fees to pay with a Credit Card. They often hold check payments for weeks before cashing or applying them to the account. They rarely answer their phone, nor do they return phone calls. The manager Chris seems incapable of managing at the level needed and it shows in the constant staff turnover. When going in to get answers, staff is dismissive and says they don't have answers. They refer everything to the Manager, and he never calls back. The level of incompetence is coming directly from the way it's managed. THE MANAGER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

He helped us during CARR fire food and water, we were not even customers at the time it has been a year now since the district merge rate have went up but service has been Good 👍.

You just have to love these guys🤡 NOT ONLY do we get OVER CHARGED-ALLLLL summer long- with $300/ MONTH bills (fines!) and HORRIBLE SERVICE! But now, for the SECOND TIME THIS MONTH- the water is TURNED OFF AT 8 AM!!!!! (Back on at 4:30 this EVENING) WITHOUT ANY NOTICE!! While EVERYONE is getting ready for WORK!!!😠🤡🤪😡

SECOND TIME!!! I have NO WATER to get ready for MY DAY because the water folks decided I DIDN'T NEED TO KNOW!
