I used to live in the area (about 2 blocks away) from this restaurant but I never noticed this place till today. I ordered their fillet mignon kabob with chicken kabob, salad, and hummus. Not only it was healthy and tasted so good, but it was also more affordable than I thought. The lady who served me was very nice as well. I will try their other menu again next time.

I came here once before and liked it a lot. This time, I ordered the same thing, and it was just as good, if not better than before. I don't know much about Persian food, but I was very impressed with the flavor, the tenderness, and the cost. I had Tahdig, a Persian stew on a bed of crispy rice, and a lamb dish with rice. Both are unbelievably delicious. Their version of Baba Ghanoosh is Eggplant Borani, much better than the Bg I've had elsewhere. The waitress, Massi, was very attentive. She was there at the start and never let the drinks get empty. The prices are good for the value. They give you a nice portion. We took most of it home. It's definitely a go-to place for me since I'm Italian American and pizza is a main staple of my diet. I LOVE Tahdig.

This is a Persian Restaurant in Northridge. It has some authentic Persian flavors but I can’t say that I loved it.

There are plenty of indoor seating and they have a table upfront where they put together the to-go orders. Not sure why they put it up front instead of to the side. Our server was friendly and gave recommendations on what to order and what combinations to eat together.

I’ve eaten at other Persian restaurants and I really wanted to love it. The food was okay but not the best I’ve had.

The salad was okay. The Dolmeh were good, better than I’ve had at other restaurants. We got the combo chicken and shish kebab and shared it. The chunks of filet mignon were slightly overcooked. The chicken was juicy though. I liked the colorful basmati rice but it could have been more flavorful. We had a side of Gheymeh Bademjon since we like eggplant but it wasn’t as good as we expected. The sauce was good and we drizzled it over the basmati rice.

The Persian ice cream wasn’t as good as we were expecting either. I loved the hot Persian Tea!!

The food is excellent! I’m glad to know they’re serving the salad again. The atmosphere is spacious enough. Depending on which waiter you get is hit and miss. I didn’t have my favorite waiter this time. The waiter I had was not very attentive. He hardly came over to check on me. 🙁

Shamshiri Restaurant deserves top marks for its incredible food. The kebabs are perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy, making every bite a delight. Their Soltani is another level. The quality of the food and the authentic Persian flavors make Shamshiri a must-visit in Northridge and Valley. The food tastes homemade and authentic. The service is quite good, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This restaurant never disappoints! The service is always provided with a smile and the food is always served hot, spiced just right, and delicious!! I highly recommend this location. Their other location is good, but this place is my favorite.

This is one of the best Persian restaurants not just in Los Angeles, but in the USA. The food is exquisite, they have a good beer selection, the staff are friendly and very attentive, the atmosphere is casual, a Great place for birthday celebrations and overall family dinners. I highly recommend this restaurant.
