One Pepperoncini for a large Greek salad it was mostly lettuce, I can’t believe the food cost Is that high that they can only use one? The beets had no flavor. Not much feta either. Three Kalamata’s for a large.! the Coney Islands were pretty good. I should’ve just got those and skip the Greek salad and go to cottage Inn.

Today me and Mom decided to make a pit stop at Senate Coney Island in Livonia to fill our bellies! The place was immaculately clean and everyone we interacted with was filled with smiles and very helpful. The gyro dinner was fantastic and the tzatziki sauce was very fresh and flavorful! The lemon rice soup was amazing and so was the homemade ranch dressing on the side salad 👍 My mom ordered the stuffed cabbage and said they were just okay and the sauce was too sweet for her... But she ate it anyways 🤷 we look forward to trying the salads next time! Thank you to everyone who helped put a smile on my mom's face and helped kept us fed today 🙏

Visited this place from out of town on high recommendation and was not disappointed. Excellent service from the front door to the kitchen. Didn’t get a chance to eat the Greek salad I ordered and left it in the car by mistake. It was still fresh and delicious a full 24 hrs later! 5 stars for sure

Wow fast service, nice servers. Food was good, onion rings are fantastic , ranch dressing is so good, grilled chicken pita was great but it was openface and it was hard to eat. The lemon chicken rice soup is not as good as it used to be and needs to be a little thicker, more rice, more chicken.

Lighting at night is too low and makes it hard to read the menu.

Great food, and fast service. We have been to many coney island restaurants around Michigan, and this particular Senate is top of the list. The service was fast and friendly. Our food came out quickly, was hot, and tasted fresh. Our waitress was on point with everything that was served. The prices were very reasonable as well. My family and I will make it a point to stop in at this Senate the next time that we are in the area. Can't say enough good things about our experience.

Senate really has the best breakfast around. Good service and fresh, hot food at a reasonable price.

Weekend breakfast hours are always busy there, but it's a big restaurant. No wait for us at 9 a.m. on a Saturday, anyway.

My favorite is the feta and gyro omelet. I added tomatoes, spinach and onions. With hashbrowns and toast, just a bit over $16 after adding 3 more items to the omelet. Very large portions, too.

Just go. They are a neighborhood staple.

Been coming here since I was a kid for breakfast. The whole facility is clean and well maintained. The food is great and comes out in minutes of ordering. The staff is very friendly and efficient. This is a real deal coney. One of metro Detroit’s best!

For the price I wouldn't do it again. Our silverware was so dirty I asked the for plastic to eat with. Asked for an extra plate and was able scrape food off of it. Didn't end up using it. Would have left but my husband was on his lunch at work and didn't have time to go anywhere else. This is an absolutely not unless you want to force your food down wondering the whole time if the plate you pulled your burger off of was washed correctly.
