Diana O. was so pleasant and helpful! I was at door before 9am (opening). At around 8:55, she unlocked door, as it was cold outside. I cannot tell you how many times I have been waiting, and the employees start opening (turning lights on, etc) at the designated opening time, and usually start a few minutes late! Diana O. is a terrific example of providing customer service with a smile and a great representative of See’s!!

Who doesn't love walking into a See's Candy store? You are first hit with the delicious odor of chocolate and then transfixed by all the goodies available. The Easter eggs are out, the bunnies are hopping and the molasses chips are waiting for you. There was a short line to get in. But the wait was less than 5 minutes. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Small gifts of chocolate are still given as you exit. Now they are presented in a little plastic bag for safety. You know you need to go... One piece of chocolate won't hurt!

I was sitting down minding my own business waiting for my car to be washed/waxed a few yards away at the classic car wash. A pleasant and wonderful employee by the name of Michelle(?) asked me if I was waiting for my phone/online order and I said no. She then offered me a delicious dark chocolate walnut turtle sample when I was not even a customer. It was so good I then called to buy a box of 8 and offered her a tip but refused. Does customer service matter anymore? Yes, now more than ever and I will now get my chocolate needs from this location from here on out. You have not only gained another customer but proved customer service and random acts of kindness still exists. Thank you so much.

Nice See's, well stocked friendly service. Got to select our pound and the box is loaded by hand by the staff. Old school service.
Parking can be tricky though when it's a busy time of year for candy giving.
Suggest parking on Prospect if you can.

Personal bias for places that take me back to modest ranch-style retail strips, where little old ladies still write checks for their chocolates that they give to friends and grandkids. In those instances, patience is a virtue rewarded by a chocolate sample as you walk out the door. Do I buy for others? Rarely, this is MY indulgence, and Sees rarely fails to meet my fix. While efficiency may not always win, Sees is worth the trip, knowing its California history as a favored (and flavored...get it?) institution.
