This place is a terrific community food experience. Yes, they have all the things you'd expect a California health food store to have. But they also have an excellent kitchen making some tasy healthy fare and also a great little beer and wine bar. The outdoor seating in the Barlow is nice and the parking is easy in the big lot. Overall, a much more fun place to go than the competition because it does not feel big and corporate.

I am not one to leave a bad review but I am disgusted. I ordered a sandwich for the first time and not only was the lettuce very wilted but I noticed a bug and mold as well. I wish I noticed it sooner but did not until after I was halfway through eating.

A rarity.. an authentic community market with hot bar, a salad bar, and a booze bar, beautiful outdoor seating, bulletin board for community events. Incredible local sustainable meat selection. Everything is organic and mostly locally grown. Higher prices but it’s worthwhile to support a local centric community run market!

The Garden is a taproom and espresso bar inside the grocery store. I like to grab something to eat from the deli and relax from shopping in the taproom. The store has a good selection of food. And the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The deli has outdoor seating with picnic tables.
