I go here for the excellent variety of meats and fresh seafood, but they also make one of the best sandwiches in San Rafael. It's an old School family butcher shop.

Neighborhood grocery store with a great meat and fish counter (Rocky's). Been there forever it seems. You pay for the convenience a little, but I like to stay out of the big stores as much as possible.

Stopped in to get some sandwiches to bring on a hike in Muir Woods. Got there right after they opened and found the deli was not open yet. However, Roy was very accommodating and put together four fantastic sandwiches that the family loved. Very friendly staff and a great neighborhood market! Thank you Roy!

Excellent produce, deli, and I get my favorite carrot cake by "Just Desserts" there, also they have bbq fridays outdoors...the steak, chicken or pork ribs are all a great treat to bring home to the family!

Rocky's deli inside is one best kept secrets. They are divinely delicious every single time. My folks started taking me there when i was a child and I've been going ever since. The quality has never wavered, if anything it's increased over the years. While you're waiting for your sandwich to be made, i suggest perusing the gourmet sodas and seeing if one strikes your fancy. I'm s fan of the Sarnac Shirley Temple and full rainbow of Jarritos to choose from. Great classic little market with an excellent secret deli inside.

Rude cashier who refused to give my receipt. Asked for my receipt numerous times, before leaving the counter , rude , disrespectful calls me hessse or something like that? Tells me too late …/// Didn’t understand what he meant!! and gives me the look that it f you don’t leave xxxxx!!!!! Next I am filing a report with the authorities!!
