Great atmosphere, excellent service and food was really good. Whenever you find a place that doesn't have a gigantic menu, it will usually mean that they concentrate on doing fewer items well 🙂 Loved the candies carrots!

This is hands down the best fried chicken in the area. Real potatoes and gravy were excellent. Perfectly cooked asparagus. I do not like beans, but I ate all of them served to me. Fresh hot roll. OUTSTANDING!! I will be back to try other items on the menu. I've found my new favorite place to eat. Also the drinks were mixed very well the cinnamon apple mule was the best I've had.

Woody's is not only situated for lake watching while you dine, but the restaurant's interior design feels like your favorite Up North lodge. The thoughtfulness to detail is wonderful & just ask if you want to know the history of the tree rounds decorating the wall. The food is very good as well. I ordered clam strips & they are mostly meat with light breading instead of the other way around. Cannot wait to work my way through the menu. I'm so glad they are in my backyard! Woody's is a must if you're in the neighborhood.

Awesome staff, very well cleaned and maintained restaurant. Absolutely crazy good food. One of the best places in all of Michigan to go to. Guaranteed to leave you saying "Wow!"

Came here on a Friday night around 5:15pm and were seated right away. Enjoyed a draft beer and house wine. We ordered the fried perch and broiled whitefish dinner specials. Both were very good. Served with a potato and cooked carrots.

I gave Woody’s 4 ⭐️ because I know they will get better. It’s been open almost 2 weeks so as expected there are kinks to work out. The beer selection isn’t large but is a broad enough range to satisfy the domestic and the craft drinker. The location and ambiance are very nice. It is a nice addition to the Grand Lake area and I hope the locals and the travelers frequent often.
The food menu is limited at present as I expect they are experimenting what will work best for the summer season. The food was probably a bit pricey for the portions so hopefully that will improve.
There is a nice bar plus table seating for large and small groups even though the overall seating isn’t necessarily huge.
I think it will be even a great stop in the winter when you’re out snowmobiling.
