This is an L.A. Gem. A Very Special Place. All the food is Soul Food. The Large Sicilian Cannoli’s are The Real Deal. And the Sharp Provolone…Mamma Roma!! I drive out of My Way once a Week to Stock up on Food that Tastes like, The Best in The West.

I had the San Carlo special. It was pretty good. I've had better subs at places like Jersey Mike's. However, San Carlo is very good at its slightly lower price point. I will go back to try some of their more expensive options to see how those compare. I also had some of their pizza bread. The pizza bread is very good, which gives me hope for their pizzas, so I will be trying those out as well and updating my review. I tried this place a couple more times and had the pastrami sandwich and a pepperoni pizza. Once again the sandwich was good, but not great, though I did prefer it over the last sandwich I got. The pizza is great though, well worth the cost.

San Carlo Italian Deli is excellent! We were looking to pick up sandwiches for a day trip and came here based on the great reviews. This place did not disappoint! We walked in and the owner treated us like family. Amazing customer service! We have not yet eaten our sandwiches but we had their cheese pocket which was so delicious!! They have a wonderful variety of Italian foods, pastas and they make their own pasta and bread in house! I highly recommend this amazing business and I am so glad we found it! If you’re looking for that perfect Italian deli or awesome sandwiches or anything delicious, this is your spot!!

I was recommended this Italian local deli by some of the locals but I was not a huge fan. I order the San Carlo sub and although it looked delicious. The look did not do the flavor justice. The shop is super neat though. They have authentic Italian products which was super neat to look at. They have a variety of deli meats to choose from too. I do plan on giving it another chance and trying a different sub despite the one I ordered did not have flavor.

I've been here a few times and this place is great. Had the seafood pasta special the first time and had the pastrami with cheese this time. I wish I asked for more mustard but overall, the sandwich was great. Had an unruly customer come through but the girl with the Christmas ear headband kept smiling and taking orders. A little busy and disorganized at times but they're all doing their best. Happy holidays to them!

Talk about friendly staff, i was there only for few minutes to get lunch with my coworker, and i never felt so welcomed before anywhere else.
As for the food it was good, the bread was fresh and delicious, portion wise, its perfect size, my only wish would be if there was more Italian zest in the flavor. But overall it was a great experience

Great food, great service! Very friendly staff! Highly recommend given them a try. I have tried the pizzas, pastas and sandwiches.
