S&N Hydroseeding came out to fix several problems left by a sub contractor for Genesee County.

Scott and his crew not only fixed everything that was wrong, i.e., water drains away from walk in basement now, the yard is back to how it looked originally, dozens of large pieces of concrete removed that were left sticking out off the ground, trees and limbs removed that were left behind.

Then two large dump truck loads of top soil were brought in (not clay and gravel like before), and then hydroseed was sprayed.

Both yards now look even better than before they were left in terrible condition.

I have to agree with one of the other reviews, if you don’t leave a 5 Star review, then it’s most likely your fault your yard looks bad.

I even got an email from Scott a couple hours after they finished, saying if I needed anything to give him a call.

Can’t give anything higher than 5 stars or I would, Scott and his crew is highly recommended

Scott and his crew were excellent in every way. Our lawn was done early in July . (Not ideal time to grow a new lawn) the initial Hydroseeding didn’t take perfectly. That’s when the follow up service was really terrific. The guys came back two or three times to make sure things were right. Now as you can see with photos of current lawn it ended up really great.

How anyone is not leaving 5 star reviews is beyond me! Probably their own stupidity not taking care of their lawns. I have a newer build (2020). Scott has done my lawn once already and we decided to bring in 5,000 yards of free fill dirt to extend our backyard. Long story short, the trucks and heavy equipment destroyed it. We are now having S & N put in retaining walls, flower beds, trees, top soil and hydroseeding again. Scott and his crew are the most down to earth, hard working, just all around terrific people. I personally contracted most of everything out throughout my build and delt with 100 contractors throughout. I’ve had estimates for a $2,000 job come in as high as $10,000. I don’t hire any Joe shmow. If I have to wait 2 years for the right price with good quality work, I will. And that’s where Scott came through again! I’m sure there are other great companies out there but I honestly wouldn’t hire anyone else or refer anyone else. I just wish he did in ground pools as well. 😉 They just got started here again, but I wanted to share this beautiful Retaining Wall they just put in for us.

Scott the owner is a super nice guy. After checking with several hydroseed companies they were by far the most affordable. Came out did a great job on the yard prep and hydroseeding. Gave me a list of instructions to care for the lawn and all is growing well. He always answers my calls with any questions I may have. Great company would highly recommend 👌

100% dissatisfied! Hydroseed was sprayed first week in May. No growth after 2 weeks so they came and resprayed. Within a few hours it rained. Majority of hydroseed washed away.

80% of my ground is covered with crabgrass. Have requested refund but denied.

Have spoke with Scott and his crew several times.

Neighbor also used this company for hydroseed. Same thing. Crab grass galore.

We had an unfortunate experience at my Grandparents with another company. After explaining the situation to S & N they were quick to help. We hired them to redo her yard completely as the other company had basically left it bare.

We were skeptical that it would ever become a green beautiful yard again, but we were wrong. Thanks to Scott from S & N, my grandparents now have the best looking yard on their street! They have received many compliments and we couldn't be happier! I wish we had found them first. If you are looking for a professional and good priced company S & N Hydroseeding is the way to go!!!! 10/10 for me!!!

Although I didn't actually have S&N do our yard, Scott did handle our neighbor, and it is looking great. But even more than that, is that Scott is a person who will always do the right thing. When our neighbor's grading was done by Scott's company, one of my sprinkler heads was torn out accidentally. Not knowing this happened until the next day, I had it repaired by my own irrigation company, called Scott and let him know what happened, and he reimbursed me immediately, no questions asked! That's an honest, ethical business practice. I'd recommend S&N to anyone!

I wish I had written this review a year ago, to save others from potentially falling into the same scam that we experienced. S&N were hired and recommended by our builder to hydroseed our new build yard, and when we spoke with Scott, he said he could also install an irrigation system for us. We assumed that he, or S&N, would be doing the work since we hired him to do it. However, Scott subcontracted out possibly the worst irrigation company to do the work. False promises, multiple leaks in the system leading us to be unable to use it at all, terribly incorrect timelines, lying to us about the system, rude and disrespectful, it was an absolute nightmare of a 6 week long project to have the irrigation system installed. The company was driving from Muskegon, which we understood was a long drive, but it was not our fault that they took a job for Scott so far away. They were never here before noon, and would only work for 2-3 hours before leaving for the night, frequently would take 3-4 days off without returning, and at one point was not at our home for almost 2 weeks with huge trenches left in our yard mid project. We chalked it up to a nightmare experience, and were trying to move on. However, when we had the system activated this year, a local irrigation expert could only walk around our mess of a yard shaking his head at their work. One of the worst irrigation systems he’s seen, was how he described it. For the amount of money we paid, we expected Scott to be doing the work, not subcontracting it out to a company over an hour away. The worst part? Due to so many issues trying to even run our sprinkler system, the long awaited hydroseed didn’t even grow over a large majority of our yard, leaving only weeds and sparse grass for our kids to play in as we fight and spend more money this year trying to over seed. We had such high hopes for a company recommended by the builder, but don’t fall for the same scam we did, unless you are looking for a yard of weeds and one of the worst irrigation systems seen.
