This place is 5+ stars.. I have been going here, for over five years, and wouldn't consider another butcher. The place treats you just like family, and I love just visiting the Bond Family. I have been to most all the butcher's in the greater Grand Rapids area, and for the price, quality, and service, nobody comes close. I am very thankful for this family business.

My husband loves getting beef from here...it's his "happy place". Went into this shop today with him and I can see why! They really know their cuts and are super friendly. Their steaks are rich, bursting with flavor and "you can slice them with a fork" tender.

Giving 5 out of 5, really is not enough.
Being able to talk to the owner, and dealing with a store that is sourcing local beef, and being able to help with all sorts of questions, is fantastic.

If you are looking for an amazing, and local butcher, this is the place for you!

Note, because they are so popular, you may want to get there earlier in the day because they can sell out later in the day.

We moved permanently to Jenison last year and have been looking for a local butcher. We came across R W Bond in Grandville. We were impressed by the quality and prices of the meat there. Robert spent time with us talking about all his offerings. He made us feel important. Very friendly and personable. We also like that he supports Ottawa county farmers. I bought their 85/15 ground chuck tonight and it was the best ground beef I’ve ever tasted. It was so smooth and tasted so great, nothing like grocery store bought garbage. I also bought Amish chicken breast and I can’t wait to make that next. I will 100% make this local business my new butcher. So happy to have found them. Also, the owners are so knowledgeable and extremely kind. You do not want to miss an opportunity of shopping at this butcher shop.
