This place is so cool! Many of their plants are labelled, so it's interesting to walk around and see what's what. It's always open so you can take your lunch break there or go visit with kids. My toddler loved seeing the bugs and hydroponics system.

A great place to garden! I enjoy coming out to the garden and seeing all of the plants growing in the serenity of the eucalyptus grove behind the La Jolla Playhouse and Che Cafe. The gardeners are all friendly and helpful if you are new to gardening. Water, tools, and space are all available to help you succeed at growing some wonderful plants. Come by and check out this garden some time (please see the website for a more detailed map of UCSD and other info)! Meeting hours are from 10am-12pm every Sunday of the school year.

Great place to learn about local gardening and participate with the UCSD community to work on sustainable and interesting student run projects on small scale bio-gas production, aquaponics, hydroponics, and smart gardening techniques. Plots are usually available for rent to anyone in the community interested in gardening their own fruits and vegetables.

It's honestly hilarious how little these people know about actual farming.
