This was a great Saturday night salad. The beer was absolutely unique too. Saturday night has free music and it was open until 1 AM. We walked in and sat at the bar. It did take a little bit of time for us to get acknowledged, but we were behind a pole. The staff was completely friendly and attentive after they realized we were there.

We went there on a busy weekend for dinner. They host live music on the weekends. They have a wide range of menu options suited to all tastes. We ordered a beer flight along with IPAs and cocktails. The food was good but not top-notch. The server was attentive and service was quick. Overall a good experience.

I like this place but they need to improve. The problem I have here, is I noticed it wasn’t that crazy busy on a Saturday night and somehow the service really was poor. If you can be on your phone, you could ask me if I want another beer and not forget to bring my girlfriend’s beer over to her after she politely asked twice for it. I also waited damn near close to an hour for some chicken strips and fries(on a slow night). Waiting for the food isn’t the problem for me, having to ask the server twice if the food and drinks are coming was the problem and still no beer in my glass and no offer to get another. Finally, the food runner arrived and sadly made a mistake. The food runner forgot the order of fries and sauces we asked our server for twice. Of course I brought this up to the food runner right away. After politely asking about the error, I was immediately meet with disrespectful and condescending behavior like somehow it was my fault. If you’re one of the staff members reading this, sorry but that $1 tip was even too much for the service you provided… For the record, I worked in a restaurant for 15 years and I understand dynamics, logistics and how hard it can be dealing with the general public therefore I would consider myself reasonable and patient almost every time I go out to eat. In fact Im typically generous and extra polite. For the first time in a long time I am not either of those things.

Omg !!!! First time we went it was totally horrid experience. To the fact , we had a drink and walked out. SECOND CHANCE TIME - hey waitresse can you get any slower. It took forever to get waited on. Which ok , I understand. But come on now a half hour ! Finally, took our drink and app order. Waitresse - Is that all. You want anything else. Very snotty. Ummm no thanks. Apps were ok. A little on the flavorless side. Bang Bang shrimp had no Bang. Apps also took some time to come out. Ordered our dinner and the wait again. My guest wheat bread was dry . So dry she past on eating it. My toasted bread was burnt on the edges but under cooked in the middle , soggy like. How did you do that one ?. So ummm NO third time. Tapping out on this place.

Rochester Mills Beer has responded. However, I do not wish to fix this. I have no plans on ever going back. No amount of money would bring me back. Sorry but " IM OUT "

This place is humongous. I love the exposed wood rafters, the wooden floor, the brickwork.
Fortunately, for me, Memorial Day weekend took everyone out of town and it's fairly empty except the outdoor seating. Curious how loud it gets when this place gets full.
I didn't try the food as I stopped in after lunch so no comments on that.
The service was very attentive and friendly. The staff may have outnumbered inside patrons.
I was just here for the beer. Tried a flight and a full pour. Decent brews but nothing stood out from the crowd.

I visited Rochester Mills on a busy Saturday during the arts & crafts fair. It was busy & crazy loud in there! Our group of 3 were surprised with the many small children all around us since it's a brewery. Food was at best, mediocre. My Mac & cheese was dry & not very good. The beer cheese soup was enjoyed by my son & his wife; it was too spicy for me. We waited a long time for our food, drinks, & check. Our waitress was knowledgeable, but service was slow to poor.

My wife and I were trying to figure out where to go to eat the other night, and she brought up the Mill. I said we hadn’t been there in quite some time. Let’s try it again. The Restaurant wasn’t even a quarter full but It took about 30 minutes for us to get our meals my wife ordered The salmon sandwich and the salmon only covered about half the bun the meals were lukewarm at best. She ordered sweet potato fries. They brought her regular fries, the waitress Corrected it but when those came out, they were lukewarm as well I would say our experience was mediocre at best. I’ve always liked the Mill but I will say our last couple of experiences there have not been the best.

They took us as a big group (30) and diligently took care of us. It took a long time to get our food, but that was understandable because of the size of our group and how full the restaurant was overall. They have a solid beer menu as well, and the Orange Whip is one of my favorites.
