Excellent breakfast spot in Mason, Michigan with a great menu and delicious food. Definitely worth a try!! I ordered the G.O.A.T omelette served with breakfast potatoes and multi toast. Sis ordered the Besto Pesto with regular eggs instead of the egg whites, feta cheese, spinach, zucchini, and Guiding Light Garlic Farm pesto! Both were absolutely delicious!!! Meals took only 10 minutes to arrive at our table and service was great!! This restaurant has such a great ambience. Note that there are several options of pastries available at the counter as welll for a quick stop in along with quiche and freshly baked bread!

Everything was so amazing!! My son had the biscuits and gravy and said it was the best version he's ever had. Then I had the Besto Pesto omelet and OMG soo good. It was so good I complimented Kelly, who was part of the staff. She told me that I could get the pesto right down the road at the town's farmers market. So I went right down and bought a jar. I also brought home a cinnamon roll, coffee cake, and Jewish rye bread. I recommend it all!!!!!

If you are in Mason, Michigan, you are in luck! Risen is an unforgettable name with Unforgettable food. I have to say that my absolute favorite is the blueberry muffin. It is sweet enough and not overly sweet... this from a sweet tooth kind of guy. If you're not sure what to get, you should either get one of everything or ask the owner, who's usually there.

Risen is a wonderful place to get breakfast! I was promptly greeted, sat, and order taken. The waitress made sure I had a refill on coffee while I waited. Service was quick and efficient!

The food was delicious! I ordered the Southern Comfort with Cajun potatoes. The sausage gravy was well seasoned and the eggs were done perfectly! I am in love with the Cajun seasoning on the potatoes! It was the perfect amount of spice without it being overly spicy. The sourdough toast was delicious as well, my only complaint would be I wish I had more! 😂 (Not that I really needed it).

We were here on a Saturday and it was very busy! They informed us before seating us that it would be a 45 minute wait for food, which was very kind to inform us ahead of time. Although we did end up waiting awhile, the food was worth it and the staff was sure to check in frequently.

The food was clearly made from scratch and all tasted fresh and delish! The sausage gravy was to die for. And the very berry French toast was both tart and sweet! All in all a very good experience, and although I wouldn't go if I was in a rush during peak hours, I would definitely visit again!

Had a goat cheese, green onion, and sweet potato omelet with Cajun potatoes and English muffin toast. Everything was delicious! I like that they use seasonal and local ingredients when they can, too. Looking forward to trying other options on the menu in the future, as well as trying more of the bakery selection.

My new favorite place to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch. I recently enjoyed the G.O.A.T. and it was delicious! Sweet potatoes and goat cheese, etc. Just can't beat it! Still I am looking forward to a return visit to try yet another menu discovery. The staff is attentive and I love the artsy decor.
