The donuts are the best sugar donuts have ever had, and the cider is also amazing. I love getting 3 or 4 large size pumpkins for $10 each (30lb to 35lb) for Halloween 🎃. Their pumpkins have great stems and are very clean. Also, they have 3 for $1 gourds. Lastly, they have so many great apple trees. It is so much fun picking the apples 🍎. I highly recommend going to Rickert Orchard 👍.

Literally the definition of a hidden gem. The people working here are wonderful. Well honestly, everything here is wonderful. There were so many varieties of apples to buy or pick. The donuts.... oh my gosh the donuts. Better than any orchard donut I've ever had. The cider... better than ANY cider I've ever had in my entire life. This is my new orchard I'll be frequenting in the fall and giving all my business to! Give it a try

there's something about a rustic apple orchard in the fall that is soul satisfying, refreshing, and crisp, that warms you from the inside and embodies the very best of life here.

Rickerts is all that, and a bag of hot cider donuts, to boot. hands down, the best apple picking orchard in the Metro area, and we've visited dozens. no madding crowds here, no circus of hayrides and what have you. just a great selection of cultivars, welcoming staff, and the best cider mill donuts we've ever had. long rows of well tended trees laden with apples and beautiful grassy lanes. squash and pumpkins, fresh unpasteurized cider, and smiling faces.

everything that's important in a great orchard, they do very well, and nothing else. we'd give them more than 5 stars if we could. don't miss this one.

Visited here for the first time... Just wanted to get some apples and donuts and maybe a pumpkin. It was wonderful! The ladies inside helped us with our Apple choice - tried something new that was YUMMY! We picked out a pumpkin too! Here's the thing:I LOVE cider mill donuts! I was mentioning how a favorite from somewhere else was so good. One of the nice ladies there said "well, you haven't tried ours yet". Well... Needless to say, she was absolutely correct! I will put it out there now: RICKERT DONUTS ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CIDER MILL DONUTS I EVER ATE!!! They have a different batter, you can smell the "appleness" and their texture is just amazing. We are most definitely going back soon!

This is a no-frills cider mill—but they have a ton of apple choices—makes it hard to choose!! But their cider and donuts are delicious!!! While we were there, a customer came in to buy more donuts—he got halfway down the road and tasted one and turned around to buy more!!

Awesome local orchard. Their donuts and hot cider are amazing and they were kind enough to allow us to do a little fall photo shoot with our mini horses for our annual calendar for our non profit rescue.
