I want to give a shout out and a HUGE thank you to Wyatt in the meat department!
We called this morning at 8:09 with a special order. He said he could absolutely accommodate us (and for the same price we could get at the bigger stores!) and asked us to give him until 3:00pm to fill the order. He called us at 10:00 to tell us it was ready!
BOOM!
He’s always so friendly and accommodating, and always has something nice to say!

The store is always so clean, and the staff is so friendly. Thanks Ray’s!

I had a good experience here. Store seemed cleaned and organized. Cashier was friendly. For a small store I was impressed with the selection and I was happy to see organic products.

It was pricey, but I figured you are paying for convenience. I wouldn't do my regular shopping here but it's great if you need something quickly, save time, and good quality.

I'd definitely come back.

If you show up before 8:00 in the morning. The lady that works there will be hiding out in the back and you can just walk right in the front door and steal whatever you want. I've been in there multiple mornings and the place is basically vacant. I almost decided just to take my cigarettes because there was no one there to sell them to me but instead I'm not going to be purchasing them there anymore

Rays Food Place is always a great place to shop. John, the store manager is consistently upbeat. All of the staff is courteous and kind. A special thank you to Wyatt in the butcher /meats department. My first impression of Ray's Food Place was nothing but exceptional. The friendly staff greeting customers upon entering. "Can I help you find something?" The welcoming smiles and elevator music playing in the background. The hot food section was closed this time, but it might be something to consider in the future. I only managed to find a grocery bag. A 5% discount guaranteed on all future purchases!

The staff was super friendly and helped me with my son who was having a fit - trying to distract him. The size of the store is small and I therefore prefer the Rays in Fort Jones but when I need something quick I go here as I like to support the local stores. Prices are on the higher side, if they were a little less I would probably buy a lot more here.

Good old standby in Etna, CA ...Prices are slightly steeper due to limitations of quantity for servicing a small town, but this is to be expected. They're continually improving their product selection and quality...also, the store is clean and recently remodeled. Sure beats relying on Dollar General!😀

Ray's is a good small town grocery store. It has a little bit of everything. Price on most things are higher than at a big chain, but you pay for the convenience. They do have sales, the produce is great and the staff is friendly.
