Damn! What a vast park area this is! It has many hiking trails to choose from. There an attractions to see along the way and the views are simply great! Depending on where you go it could take an hour or less or up to a few hours if you are motivated. We came across a gaggle of turkeys and a herd of deer. The vegetation is pleasant especially the trees. Nice park space. 👍😎

One of my favorite parks to go for a hike or running. There is some for everyone at every age group. There are good bathroom that are reasonably clean. There is a picnic tables in couple of spots along the trail.
The kids favorite part is the animal farm after a little walk.
The trails are hilly after passing the farm and offers possibilities to make various lengths of hikes from 2 to 10+ miles.
The woods are incredibly beautiful especially in the spring, when there is water in the creeks.
I would recommend the Wildcat loop trail. It’s about 4-5 miles, so depending on how fast you walk and stop it can take 1.5-2+ hours.
Parking is tough during the weekend. If you see a free spot at any of the parking lots upper lots, just take it. No guarantee there is any spots left after checking the lot in the bottom.
Remark dogs are not welcome, because it has protected wildlife.,

A great place to hike with ample free parking and multiple trails for various difficulty levels.
I have been here a couple of times and if you don't reach before 7.30 am, it becomes difficult to get a spot.
I appreciate that early rising attitude of people here.

The trails aren't packed because of the crowd. That's the best thing. You can do loop trails of 2 hours. I did the PG&E trail which opened into the Deer Hollow Farm on the way back. There were beautiful water creeks and wooden bridges on the way. The best part is that most area is shaded. Great for summers.

Restrooms need some cleaning.

It's a nice hiking park, I have been hiking here with friends many times, it is always a nice place to go on the weekends to get some fresh air and good exercise. The view is pretty, with all the trees and high-tech companies in silicon valley. You will see some cute animals on the way too!

Just awesome - especially for getting a hike in over the weekend. It’s close enough and just off the 280 so getting there is a breeze. Parking can be a challenge if you’re late - in the summer that’s anytime after 7 am. But it has ample parking so a few mins patient wait is all it takes since most people probably get in a hike of an hour or so and leave.

Amazing park with many hiking trails and picnic areas. The park is kids friendly with separate hiking trails for pedestrians and bikes. Hiking trials lead to Deer Hollow farms where there are many animals for kids to pet and feed. There are many parking lots but it can be crowded especially in weekends.

Home to California Bay, Mountain Lions and Deers! A refreshing place for hike, you can smell the aroma of spices thanks to California Bay trees in the forest. Spend times with cows, deers and sheep/ goats at Deer Hollow Farms. Definitely my to-go place for Friday evenings!

This place is a paradise for hikers. With numerous trails, some going as high as 2000 ft above sea level it provides challenges to hikers young and old alike! It also has a few bike paths that accommodate both mechanical and electric bikes. It even has a wonderful animal farm (Deer Hollow Farm), about one mile from the park entrance. This is an ideal place for a family to spend a weekend afternoon hiking, picnicking, and just have fun enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery!
