Without a doubt, Ramshackle Brewing Company is my favorite brewery in Michigan. They're a tiny little hole in the wall in a small community mistaken for that Kool-aid guy's town, but they have a huge heart!

The beer is well crafted and delicious with several new and unique rotating brews frequently. The owners and staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming, truly an asset to their community.

But what really stood out and attracted me to their establishment was their support of live entertainment. Being a musician and comedian, it's rare and very valuable. They offer weekly live entertainment, such as bands, solo artists, comedians, and a weekly open mic night.

Over the past year, I've had the honor and privilege of producing two comedy shows a month at the Shack. It was a pleasure to bring the laughs and this form of entertainment to a small community I don't even live in or near.

If you find yourself out in the area, I encourage you to stop in and say hello, Grab a few beers or a Faygo flight if boozing is not your thing. You can even get some brews freshly canned to go! Drop by, I'm sure you'll be greeted by a smiling Zack, Jessy, Drew, or Ethan, eager to serve you.

Maybe I'm a little biased, but I sincerely mean every word of this review. Thank you, Ramshackle, for being an asset to the community and the best brewery around!

What a great, first time experience. My wife and I enjoy discovering new breweries in the area and this one is worth checking out. They don't have a large number of beers on tap but I really enjoyed the Brown Porter and Pushmower (sorry I called it Lawnmower when I ordered). My wife loved the Harvest. Twice! Everyone was very friendly, informative, and obviously proud of the place. What a great use of space between the two buildings. Loved the artwork on the walls. Continued good luck and we'll get back to check out new offerings in the future.

Wow it's a small place really neat art work on the walls the beer is very good and smooth. I would really recommend this place as a stop on a brewery tour. Zack was an awesome dude.

We planned to just take some cans but so glad we stayed. Zach is a great guy to chat with and is very knowledgeable at brewing. His experience and skills are obvious in the brews he serves and nuggets of knowledge he shares. Our only complaint is we live too far to visit as often as we would like.

No better place to relax and unwind after the week. Be sure to get the food flight, phenomenal grub and beer. Local, laid back, Zack and crew are theeee best hosts.

Love this place! Great beer, awesome art, and the perfect meeting place for the community. Zack, Jessy, and Joe are the coolest cat's you'll meet (NOT rude), and are absolutely killing it here. Check the "Beer It Forward" board to see if you can claim a free beer!

Beer and conversation was fantastic. Had to leave before the band started playing, but love that they have live music!!! No major food options, but I knew that coming in. Great place for some great beer! Ethan and Drew were working behind the bar and were fantastic!
