Bought the Dakota pants because of a referral from a friend who said he loved them.
Received mine the other day and I'm very happy so far true to size comfortable love the seven belt loops as for them holding up i know my friend has had his for several years and are still in great shape. We will see what I think come fall.

I purchased a pair of Dakota pants on sale in Spring 2023 and waited until I wore them for a season before I posted a review. So far, I am pleased with the purchase. The pants are lightweight and comfortable. They stretch and are good for walking on rough and uneven terrain.The nylon facing material extends higher than usual and does a good job of protecting your upper thighs. It has proven to be durable (still looks new). Unfortunately, the heavy briars where we hunt rabbits were not as kind to the stitching that frayed and pulled (see photos). Hopefully, this will not affect the durability of the pants. I also wish that the cuffs were just slightly wider so I could wear my Alpha Burly boots.
UPDATE: Less than 2 hours after I posted my review, I received an email from company president Brent Pike. He explained the cause of the stitching problem and told me to return the pants for a new pair. What amazing customer service (and on a Sunday afternoon)! Thank you Pyke Gear!!!
UPDATE #2: Wore the replacement pants through the same briar and thorn choked cover as last season (actually more this year) and the PANTS LOOK GREAT! Could almost pass for new if it wasn’t for the mud and dog hair. Thank you Pyke Gear!!!

I bought a pair of pants from Pyke sometime ago. I was really happy with the purchase. I noticed recently that the pants that I originally purchased and was extremely satisfied with were on sale on Pyke’s website. Since I already had the gray pair, I decided to purchase the tan and green pairs of the same exact pants in the same exact size as the original gray pants that I originally purchased. Unfortunately, when I received the tan and green pants, both pairs of new pants, not only fit differently than each other, but we’re totally unlike the fit of the original gray Pyke pants that I was extremely satisfied with. Not to mention, the green and the gray pants were made in the USA and the tan pants were made in Vietnam. The original reason I gave Pyke a try was because Pyke made Upland hunting clothing made in the USA

I picked up a pair of the Dakota hunting pants at Pheasant Fest in KC. Great value, great fit at a fair price. I actually wore them on a tower shoot and walk up hunt afterwards. Very comfortable and handled the brush well.

The Dakota Upland plant came highly recommended from a trusted friend. So I bought a pair during the black Friday sale. They arrived very quickly and do not disappoint. They run true to size. Only gripe I have is they were a little snugg around the calf and I wish they came in a 30" inseam
But these are not deal breakers for me 10/10 would recommend

Great high quality gear! Always impressed by how well made things are when I shop at Pyke. I’m pretty hard on things my vest has kept up with me and has been comfortable.

The Pyke items I see out in the field are often the only things the guys wear. Why? They are reliable. They last, and most importantly they are comfortable.

I am moving my wardrobe over to Pyke when my old stuff goes out, fortunately I haven’t had to worry about replacing the Pyke stuff.

Also made in the USA. That’s gotta be one of the only suppliers that are. your helping out a neighbor by buying Pyke.

I will be a life long buyer of this gear.

The pyke Dakota pants seem to be good quality but I haven't tested them yet in the multi-flora rose of Ohio. Two changes I would like to see would be changing the front pocket design to be more angular on the sides and I would like to see them add more leg room. I am 5'-9" and only 170 pounds and they fit very tight around my legs.
