From the many Publix stores I’ve been in, it seems that most Publix grocery stores are well-maintained & clean. All I’m going to say, is that I love their BOGO’s! These are usually THE best prices you’ll find anywhere!
And I appreciate the helpfulness of their employees. Rarely have I found one to be rude.

Staff is very helpful and polite as always. Very clean. Publix remodels their stores every 5 years or so. I don't know of any other grocery chain that does that.

Went there yesterday to pick up a prescription for my wife. The pharmacy was very fast. The line was long and was absorbed very quickly. Great customer service, clean location.

Friendly service, stocked shelves, and clean stores. This is my favorite place to shop. I recently picked up some flowers here for my mom and was impressed with the variety they had in their little corner floral area.

Let me add I order every cake from Publix. It’s close to home and I know the cakes will be good. I put in a cake order on March 1st. I noticed while I was ordering another cake for my daughter’s actual birthday when I ordered the Pull Apart cupcake cake it didn’t allow a space for special instructions as the other cake did.
There were more instructions needed since the cake had more than just the birthday message. So immediately, I called and spoke to someone she confirmed she added the note of the colors and the name and number for the jersey. She told me to she wouldn’t be at work on the day I will be picking it up but she reassured me she left a note. She told me to call again or go in person to make sure it will be made using the note. I called again on Thursday spoke to someone else, she said she added the note AGAIN of the requested colors, number and name on the jersey.
My cake order was to be picked up at 10, as the birthday party was at 12. I showed up 10 minutes early to make sure I wasn’t late as I had other things to do before the party time. A lady asked me my name on the order, she looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. She asked a group if they saw the jersey cake for Biggers. A lady pointed to the un iced cupcakes sitting on the rack. She then rudely looked at me and said, “it’s not ready” I said it was supposed to be ready at 10:00, she said it’s not 10. I replied, it will be in 10 mins. So then another lady says I’ll get started on it next. The lady asked for me to return in 15 mins. I immediately called my husband and asked him to pick it up because I had to go home and blow up balloons and fill up goodie bags. He ended up going to pick it up at 10:45. This is what we ended up and I am so upset, I spent 50$+ dollars and it looked NOTHING how it was supposed to be because they rushed it. My daughter even said, this doesn’t look like the picture. The lady said, to me before I left, it wasn’t their fault that they had several call outs and not enough people to work. If I had received a call letting me know, my order would be late I could have planned around it, I just really wanted the cake I ordered. It looked awful 😞 please see the attached pictures, how it was supposed to look, 🆚 what I got and showing how there was no space for special instructions on that specific cake design. Needless to say,I will not be ordering my cakes from that location for a while. Graduation is coming up and I just can’t risk it again.

I have previously loved visiting my local Publix when I’ve lived near one, but I dread visiting the one is Phenix city. I have noticed that especially some employees behind the deli counter are not so happy to assist customers. This is very unfortunate as my son has asd, and Publix is one of the only stores where he feels comfortable as is it a more quiet shopping experience and less hectic. Also they need to update when the rotisserie chicken is available, they rarely have any after 10am.
